"Rating - This place is not to be recommended; at the weekends there is noise from the bay with disco music until 3 a.m., sanitary facilities probably still from socialist times - totally outdated and run-down; inflated prices even in the off-season; only the location is good.

"Just passing through - Prices like at a 5* campsite, sanitary facilities, old, crowded and moldy. In do it yourself DIY store style. Showers like porta-potties with 40 cm access height. Supermarket has opening hours depending on the weather (was closed). When sending the sanitary facilities complained - answer " We hear that every day"

"Ideally located to discover the Slovenian coast - We were very satisfied: staff, infrastructure, cleanliness, location all top. At first we were a little worried about the low ratings - unfounded, as we soon learned. - Yes, some buildings would need renovation to be really nice. But nothing is broken or even dirty. - Noise: we were there outside the high season and don't particularly like noise. Yes, the good atmosphere was audible, but by no means disturbing. It is Portoroz and not an Alpine lake camp and so there are noises associated with the joy of life. We actually had plans to travel on, but stayed because of the wonderful opportunities to explore the great surroundings - even without a car. We would love to come back

"Short vacation over the long weekend - We planned to stay 3 nights, but due to the noise pollution at night, we shortened our stay. The site is actually in a great location and there are a wide variety of pitches. We "treated" ourselves to a pitch right by the sea, which unfortunately turned out to be a mistake. The background music (coming from the village opposite) is absolutely bearable until around 23:00. After that, for reasons I can't explain, it gets louder and louder. The whole thing goes on until about 02:30, and sleep is out of the question until then. The owner could also invest in renovating the sanitary facilities. The washing facilities are really getting on in years. For the above reasons, we won't be booking this site again in the near future, which is a shame as the location is ideal.

Set across six hectares of the luxuriant Seča peninsula, just to the south of Portorož, the Lucija Campsite can cater for up to 1000 campers. It has all mod cons, including a campsite shop as well as a restaurant. The …campsite organises a range of water sports activities for guests as well as evening entertainment programmes. On site there are also tennis courts, mini golf links, volleyball and basketball courts, handball and football pitches, as well as bowling. Facilities: Restaurant Shop Children’s playground Beach Shade Electrical outlets Warm and cold water showers Washing machines and driers WCs Toilets adapted for the needs of the disabled Washing facilities for kitchenware and clothes Utility services Discharge facilities for chemical toilets Also, pets are most welcome, and major credit cards are accepted.
