CAMPING DANICA*** Danica Campsite is located near the Sava River in Bohinjska Bistrica, only a few kilometers from the Bohinj Lake and right below the mighty Triglav range. The shady site along the rustling Sava Bohinjka River offers peace and … quiet on the area of 4.5 ha. Danica Campsite provides place for up to 700 guests. The campsite offers modernly furnished sanitary facilities including a modern laundry facility and a camper station. There is also a picnic place in the camp. The campground provides free WI-FI sig nal for internet connectivity. A bar and a restaurant are available within the camp site premises. In the vicinity, there are a supermarket, fruit market, bakery, health centre, pharmacy, bank and post office. The campsite is also disabled-friendly. The campsite offers many sport activi ties like tennis, badminton, volleyball, table tennis and a rent-a-bike. Campsite visitors may also take advantage of a large sports hall, which is located by the campsite. A children’s playground is available on campground. In the campsite, numerous children workshops and events for chil dren take place during summer. You can capture some thrills in the Bohinj Aqua park, which is located in the vicinity of the campsite. It offers swimming pools, toboggans, saunas, fitness and wellness programme. There are a lot of possibiliteies for mountaineering, walking, hiking and sport climbing in the Bohinj valley, the foothills and in the mountains themselves. In the summer some traditional folk-culture events are organised. They reminding us how people in Bohinj used to live and work: "Vasovanje" (traditional wedding feast), Rural wedding, Midsummer night and the "Cowherds` ball".
