"Not Recommended - Hi everyone, I just want to get something off my chest. It’s a natural nudist campground where, unfortunately, they try to rip you off a bit. We arrived around 3:00 a.m. and, of course, parked in the lot in front of the reception desk. When we checked in the next morning, we had to pay an extra €18.00 plus tourist tax—without electricity—just for parking. Apparently, there’s a sign on the power pole with this information, but it’s very hard to see at night. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, I was brushed off very rudely.

"A beautiful spot away from the crowds - A lovely little campground nestled in the bay and surrounded by nature. Many laid-back people enjoy their vacations here. The beach and the sea are clean, and you can easily find a spot on short notice during the off-season. I like that nudism is practiced here but not enforced. It’s just a matter of living a relaxed life and letting others do the same.

""Brass Palmas on a nudist beach: Inappropriate event backdrop for a retreat" - As a nudist bathing guest at the Bunculuka campsite, I would like to express my deep irritation at the Brass Palmas Festival being held on the nudist beach. A nudist area stands for peace, discretion and respectful privacy - values that are massively violated by loud music events, camera presence and public staging. The event may have been well organized, but it was in the wrong place and a provocation to all naturist bathers. A nudist beach is not a showplace for events, but a place of retreat for people who consciously avoid publicity. The mere presence of photographers - whether professional or not - creates a feeling of insecurity and is simply inappropriate in this context. It was particularly irritating that despite clearly posted signs with rules of conduct on the naturist site, almost all of the guidelines listed there were disregarded and ignored. This applies both to the ban on photography and the expectation of a nude beach. This event was disrespectful towards all the nude bathers and should not be tolerated in any way. I hope that future plans will respect the special features of a naturist area and that such events will be moved to suitable locations.

"Unsuitable for naturists - The campsite has a fantastic location with a wonderful view of the sea and the land opposite. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern. The pitches are all on a slope, so you always have to walk up and down a bit. As naturists, we like living among naturists. This is not possible on Bunculuka. Even in warm weather, the wash house is very often visited clothed, many guests only move around the campsite clothed and only undress on the beach. And a public path across a nudist beach is not acceptable to us. We had booked for 4 days at short notice to get to know the place. We had to leave after 3 days for personal reasons. We were charged for the 4 days, which we have never experienced on any other campsite. The campsite is completely unsuitable for naturists, especially for people who are still new and perhaps a little unsure about the textile-free life.

"excellent naturist campsite in the south of Krk - The visit to Camping Bunculuka was our first to a naturist campsite. It was an absolutely positive experience. The guests are relaxed. You are allowed, but you don't have to do anything. After visiting Krk, Punat (including Konobe Beach), Vrbnik, Malinska and Njivice, we rated the bay of Bunculuka as the most beautiful "corner" of the island. The campsite is very clean, well parceled out and managed by a friendly team. The beach was always full, but tolerably so. At other bays on the island we felt like we were stepping on each other's toes because it was so crowded. The island is great and (if it's not too hot) also very inviting for hiking (e.g. a great path from Baska Crkva Sv. Ivan to Hlam [461m] or through Kanjon Vrženica) All in all, a fantastic place that makes you want to come back again.

"NUDISM - Complete satisfaction from the reservation to the reception, to the cleanest sanitary facilities. The restaurant is also great, not too extensive, but something for everyone. Lots of activities available, just a short walk and you're in Baska. I will be back.
