"A good place with a beautiful view - For me, this is the best place in Orava. The view of the mountains is much better on this side of the lake.

"Small quiet campsite by the water - The campsite is located right on the shore.It is quite small but quiet. There is no playground for small children. In the campsite you can buy soft drinks, beer and small snacks in the buffet which is made from the bus. Toilets clean and showers in operation all day Possibility to rent a pedal boat, paddle board , motor boat (from 20E/hour) or scooter ( 30E/hour). Shopping centre about 1km away About 500m is the restaurant Ranch u Edyho, food is average.No dogs allowed in the restaurant. Possibility to rent a cottage for 4 people with equipment(fridge,kettle,cooker plus dishes,tv) price 40E per night

"Like a living room on a beach with a panoramic view of the Alps - We spent a week and a half with our four children in a caravan at Autocamping Jami and enjoyed every hour of it. The campsite is small, but that makes it cozy like a living room. The tall, shady willow trees are like palm trees on a reservoir. Remarkable is the boss, who is omnipresent and helps everyone in everything. The drive to the mountains of the western Tatras takes about 45 minutes, but is unproblematic and extremely picturesque. The other guests were 80% Slovakian.

"a great place for a holiday - We were with a two and a half year old and were very pleased with the attitude, cleanliness, quietness and facilities. The cabins are perfectly equipped and perfectly located a short walk from the water. We will definitely come again.

"quietplace - Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of being there at a time when the owners of the campsite were on vacation (around mid to late August 2016). There was a dog chained up in the middle of the pitch that barked all night long. Eight days and nights of horror and torture at the same time. It would have been even worse for the animal if it hadn't been for some campsite guests taking him for a walk. The grandpa (patron) was supposed to take care of it, but he didn't and certainly not at night. The sanitary facilities were not cleaned for days. You have to pay for the pitch in advance and so we had no opportunity to leave beforehand without losing money. The positive side of the campsite is the proximity to the lake and the beautiful view of the High Tatras. When the motorboats are at rest in the evening and the dog is not causing terror and the anglers are reeling in their constantly ringing fishing rods, it is peaceful and beautiful. A great place, almost an insider tip. The operators/owners came back the day before we left. The first and unfortunately last night without dog terror and the sanitary facilities had also been cleaned. You have to press a lot of buttons in the showers so that they finally do what they are intended for. I would have preferred no high-tech showers and to remove the dog from the site. Many campers unfortunately bring their own dogs and they all encroach on his territory that he is trying to defend. (An explanation but not an excuse for the terror)

"All about money - We had a spot overlooking the water but a staffmember filled a small gap with an other tent we complained but he didn't care at all. Not returning! Yes you want to make money but other field was empty but the other guest wanted close to the water as well so two motorhomes without a view shame on you!!
