"Highly recommended—the children's program could use some improvement - Overall, we highly recommend this campground and have already booked our stay for next year. The campsites are clean, spacious, and well-laid out. We were particularly impressed by how family- and child-friendly the entire campground is. The restroom facilities are exceptionally well-maintained and very clean. The children’s pool and the kid-friendly restrooms are truly a highlight—TOP! The location is also excellent: The campground is right on the beach, and the town is quick and easy to reach by bike. Another great feature—you can get to the ferry in just a few minutes and quickly reach the lighthouse and Bibione. One minor criticism from our perspective is the kids’ program. Basically, the offerings are great and varied—there are different activities every morning and afternoon, and a mini-disco in the evening. On paper, that sounds really great. Unfortunately, during our stay, the execution didn’t quite live up to the concept. About 95% of the time, the kids sat at small tables on chairs and were given coloring pages. Meanwhile, some of the activity leaders were busy on their cell phones or doing crossword puzzles or Sudoku. As a result, there was unfortunately very little real interaction with the kids, and the program was hardly interactive at all. Our daughter still enjoyed participating and regularly came back with her own drawings—saying, “We painted again.” 😊 For our son, however, the program consisting solely of coloring became too boring over time. Here, we’d like to see the children’s activities actually be more actively led by the activity leaders—with more group games, physical activity, creativity, and, above all, more interaction with the kids. But: The entertainment program definitely shouldn’t be a deal-breaker. The campground itself is truly top-notch; we felt very comfortable there and have already booked our stay for next year. We’re already looking forward to it!

"A beautiful campground with direct access to the beach! - A beautiful campground with direct access to the beach! We had a really great stay. The campground is beautiful, everything is very neat and clean, and the staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. The direct access to the beach is especially nice—simply perfect! However, there is one major criticism regarding the “cafeteria” or food service area. Unfortunately, the current system is causing frustration among many guests and should be urgently reviewed. You have to stand in a different line for pizza than for pasta and fried foods. For example, if you want to get pizza and pasta together for the family, it’s practically impossible to do so without one of the dishes getting cold. Then there’s the payment system: for instance, you might wait a long time in line for fries only to be told that you have to pay at a different register first—meaning you have to wait in line again. With the pasta, it works differently. This is unnecessarily complicated and takes a lot of time. Preparing the pasta also takes a disproportionately long time. As far as we could tell, the pasta is mostly pre-cooked and then reheated in a pan individually for each order. This results in long wait times. A simpler and faster system would certainly be possible here. It’s particularly unfortunate that, despite these long wait times and the rather cumbersome system, the prices are at a level where you’d actually expect corresponding quality and better service—especially compared to a restaurant where you’re served at a table. The campground itself is truly excellent and highly recommended. If the food service concept and the payment system were revised, our stay would be nearly perfect.
