"Gelindo dei Magredi - Very quiet campground, beautifully located. Lots of shade, grass on the camper stands. An ideal place to stay and take a break during a long trip to southern Italy, or on the way back north to home.

"Nice camping under the vines! - The pitches are beautifully situated under vines (steel construction with climbing vines). Horse farm with the possibility to visit the horses. Very good food in the restaurant. Child-friendly with a small playground and pool for kids. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately still too few with a shower and toilet and unfortunately also neglected.

"Fine campimg with also RV sites and room rentals - Beautiful and well maintained. Spacious places and good restaurant. In the middle of the vines with possibility of horseback riding. Lovely quiet campsite. Great for excursions from here. Agricultural campsite.

"Well - I was on the site over New Year's Eve this year and again at the beginning of November, so it's open all year round. Sanitary facilities very neglected. Nothing had been done from January to November. Shower water was only slightly warm. Take a GPS or map with you for cycling. Some groceries in reception, store in the village. All in all, not good value.

"Recreational vacation - We stayed at the campsite at the end of May 2016. Very nice and quiet place. Ideal for families with children as all the animals are present on the site. Very good restaurant, friendly service. Ideal starting point for hikes (approx. 15 km) and cycling on traffic-calmed roads.

Profile

Gelindo dei Magredi is a well-organized and peaceful rural tourism centre located in the green countryside of Vivaro, just north of Pordenone, at the confluence of the Cellina, Meduna, and Colvera rivers, in an area where the Friulian Dolomites, recently …recognised as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, provide a breathtaking backdrop. The estate spans 15 hectares and includes the hotel-restaurant, agritourism accommodations with rooms featuring private bathrooms, TV, and air conditioning, a meeting room with a “fogolar”, the swimming pool and wellness area, the agricamping site with a water feature and children’s play areas, as well as a wine cellar and canning workshop. Shaded pastures, organic orchards and vegetable gardens, vineyards, a small museum of rural life, functional stables with riding school and covered arena, and the bicycle and carriage park complete the property, making it an ideal destination for a holiday immersed in nature. The Trevisanutto family, descendants of Gelindo, a Hungarian noble knight, established the farm in 1970 as a model of sustainable agricultural production and an educational centre for learning about farm activities – the so-called Educational Farm. Comfortable rooms, welcoming restaurants, and the wide spaces of the agritourism farm with organic produce and agro-wellness facilities make Gelindo dei Magredi a perfect Country Resort for a short stay as well as a holiday dedicated to the enjoyment of “vivere bene”.
