Erholungsanlage St. Leoner See Reviews
- 5.0NMNathalie M.July 20265.0NMNathalie M.July 2026AdvantagesGetting there was super easy and the card system made it simple to handle. I was pleasantly surprised because I had been missing a lot of detailed photos—for example, of the restrooms—but everything was more than satisfactory. Electricity, Wi-Fi, water, and showers are all included in the price, so it’s a great value. There was a great bread roll delivery service.NegativesUnfortunately, the hand dryer in the restrooms didn't work at all.Review of the St. Leoner See Recreation AreaI highly recommend it.
Getting there was easy, the stay was pleasant, and you can continue to use the facilities even after check-out on the day of departure.
Be prepared to see lots of families and children because of the wide range of recreational activities available.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 3.0
B. L.September 20253.0B. L.September 2025AdvantagesThe beautiful lake, the proximity to the ABNegativestoo big and too loudfor those who like it big and loud...A very large site with hundreds of permanent campers, a beautiful lake (unpleasantly overcrowded in good weather), a decent volume and meat- and fat-heavy offers in snack bars and restaurants. The sanitary facilities were completely ok, the reception was very competent and friendly. Not our thing...Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first! - 5.0JJJens J.June 20255.0JJJens J.June 2025AdvantagesGreat swimming lake, lots of water sports facilities, first-class sanitary facilities. Suitable for young people who enjoy wakeboarding. Swimming until 21:00. Good restaurant and a small store round everything off. It is very advantageous that you can only leave from 13:00. You can stand in front of the campsite and go back to the lake. That's very nice.NegativesThe water sports lake is far away and can only be reached via the sunbathing lawn. Bring your own boat trolley. 4 Euro fee for SUPs per day.Great facility on a very beautiful lakeVery nice staff. The sanitary facilities are very modern and clean. Finally lots of hooks everywhere.
One problem is that you are checked out as soon as you have paid the bill. This means that there is already a late camper at the site at 11:00 a.m. who wants to go to the pitch. It seems to happen more... often that campers are allowed onto the pitch before 13:00 even though arrival is not supposed to be until 15:00.
This also leads to chaos on the paths.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first! - 5.0KLKlaus L.May 20255.0KLKlaus L.May 2025AdvantagesPitches for overnight guestsNegativesnoneVery nice place with super friendly staffStayed at the site for one night. After checking in, we were allocated a pitch immediately after the barrier. These pitches are intended for overnight guests and are asphalted. The big advantage is that the caravan can remain hitched up. The sanitary facilities are located right next door in the administration... building and are in a clean condition. The lake and the whole area are very beautiful, unfortunately the water was still too cold for swimming. If we are passing through again, we will certainly choose this site again.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful.

- 5.0AKAnja K.August 20245.0AKAnja K.August 2024AdvantagesVery beautiful lake, cycle paths, leisure facilitiesNegativesWaste collection inside on the premisesGreat campsite with lake 👍 etc. Would love to come again👍Me and my sister spent a few lovely days at the lake and its surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We really appreciated the central location of our pitch and the proximity to the sanitary facilities. The only thing I didn't like was the time of the morning cleaning of the sanitary facilities, as well as the noise during the garbage collection. But both could hardly be done more quietly. We would love to come back🤗Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 4.0AEAngelika E.August 20244.0AEAngelika E.August 2024AdvantagesNone recognizableNegativesSeparation of dog owners. No dog beach.Only conditionally suitable for a vacation with a dogIt is understandable that dogs cause problems on such a large site and that a compatible solution is sought. However, the fact that any access is denied, especially to the lake, is unacceptable to me as a dog owner. There should at least be a dog beach so that people and animals can cool off together....
Furthermore, as a single traveler, I find the daily flat rate of €46 overpriced. It may still be acceptable for two people.
I cannot recommend this place for dog owners traveling alone and will also make this known in our Europe-wide forum.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. We have to say that our vacation on your campsite was very nice and we would love to come back. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The site itself is well maintained.
Only, and now we come to a star deduction, the sanitary facilities leave something to be desired. The shower heads could be changed and the cleanliness in the showers, well there is room for improvement.
