The pitches are spacious, with electricity and fresh water available nearby.

Unfortunately, we didn't like the food in the brewery inn very much.
Spent 3 days at the campsite in the best fall weather.
The sanitary facilities are new, always clean and warm.
After a long hike, we relaxed in the well-tempered indoor pool.
The small kiosk offers a bread roll service, the apples from the region were great. I would also like to mention the friendliness of the staff, we were able to extend our stay for another day without any problems.
We would love to come back

It has everything we appreciate and like.
Very friendly, helpful staff.

Well-documented suggestions for hikes,

We also very much appreciated the functioning, stable, free Wi-Fi throughout the site.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful spontaneously planned weekend.
Our daughter loved the great playground and the horses. In summer, the swimming lake is certainly a dream.
We also found the new bathroom cabins perfect as a family and were able to shower with plenty of space after having fun in the pool.
We will certainly... be back :)

We thought it was a shame that all the restaurants and shops on site were closed in the morning/lunchtime. We arrived at 2pm and had to wait for check-in and had nowhere to drink a fresh beer from the brewery next door.

Beautiful new sanitary facilities on the campsite, beautiful nature all around, delicious beer and food in the brewery.

Few restaurants to stop off at on hikes. Some misleading signs indicating restaurants that unfortunately no longer exist. The restaurant at the campsite is poor, with unsatisfactory food quality and selection. Fortunately there is the brewery, which is highly recommended.
Great well-kept campsite
Beautifully situated campsite with lovely sanitary facilities, a small swimming pool, biotope and wellness area. The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. There are many hiking opportunities. Ideal for campers with dogs. The brewery on the site offers delicious beer specialties as well as very good food.

Location, tidiness, cleanliness, especially in the sanitary facilities. Gastronomy, store, bread roll service, everything perfect. Very nice indoor swimming pool, beautiful bathing pond with many leisure activities, separate barbecue area with free barbecue wood, children's playground, everything well maintained and very clean.

Emptying gray water / black water is not at a central supply and disposal point, but only at a normal gully, without a collection slope, with a cumbersome funnel to push underneath, in front of a warehouse.

As always, the overall atmosphere. In addition, the newly designed sanitary facilities. The upper restaurant with the good cuisine and the excellent Zwickel.

The indoor pool is great, as is the small pond. We also witnessed the birth of a young cow. The active foals also impressed us again. We didn't make it to the sauna this time. Enjoying as usual. But the food and Zwickel beer were excellent as always.

Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to have a beer when the pubs are closed. We saw a few cyclists who would have liked to have a beer. Too bad a brewery bar would be nice.

Relaxed short vacation on a beautiful campsite
We spent a wonderful and relaxing short vacation at the campsite. Everything was clean and the showers were just like at home. There was no queuing for the toilets and showers as there were plenty available. The small swimming lake is ideal for cooling off on hot days and the indoor pool for rainy weather.... The campsite has everything you need as a family with two children aged 5 and 7. We would definitely like to come back and are happy to recommend the campsite to others.

Overnight stay at this lovely campsite
We initially emailed with a request for a 2 night stay and had a prompt reply and booking confirmed. Our plans changed and we only stayed for 1 night, but most certainly we will be back to stay for longer. The new shower block is outstanding with your own bathroom complete with toilet basin and wet room... shower . We ate at the brewery pub and the food and staff were welcoming and friendly.
The lady on reception at the campsite was really friendly and informative .
We will definitely be back soon

It's clear that you can feel at home at the Kreuzhof campsite for longer than just 4 days. So it's a shame that we didn't have more time. But luckily for us Freiburgers, the Black Forest is not that far away. For everyone else: Be sure to plan more time to not only enjoy the amenities of the campsite... but also to explore the beautiful surroundings thoroughly. Although I was able to get to know the site as a child over 40 years ago, I am even more impressed by the site today. You can see every day how much love goes into everything and even the small details are important to the Rogg family. Thank you for the warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere!

In short: very, very clean. Super friendly operators and staff. Very accommodating and informal! Gasthof Rogg with the best cuisine and even without a reservation, despite a full house, 2 people were added. Swimming pool, sauna and a wonderful shopping opportunity, natural bathing pond (highly recommended) on site. Simply top! We will be back.

We were as a couple for 2 weeks with the motorhome on this beautiful place
Everything is just right here! The guided tour of the brewery is also highly recommended. Mr. Axel took over 3 hours for our small group (7 adults and one young person) including a tasting for just a few euros. You don't often find that these days.
At Gasthof Rogg, the customer is king from the moment... they enter until they leave. The food, friendliness, ambience and cleanliness are all to your complete satisfaction.
And even the public transport connections to Freiburg are great.
This makes camping great fun!!!!

Beautiful place, unfortunately with restrictions
In addition to the positive aspects mentioned, there were some negative points on what was actually a beautiful site. We arrived on Wednesday and then had rain on Thursday night. Our pitch
(no. 52) and my sister's pitch (no. 53) were completely muddy in the area of the awning that morning. When we asked... the lady at the registration desk if we could get other pitches, she said that she didn't have time now and that all the free pitches were reserved. I have to say that we had already booked in November 2024. The problem with the pitches mentioned here has been known to the operators for some time and nothing is being done about it. The free pitches, e.g. on the other side of the road directly opposite our pitches, were only ever allocated on a daily basis and could be chosen by the guests. It was therefore quite possible to give us other pitches promptly if we had wanted to, but this was not the case. The operators are also not prepared to charge less for these pitches. If we had left earlier, we would have had to pay €15 per day for the days we didn't use.
After further complaints, we were then offered other pitches on the tenth day of our stay (we were there for 14 days). These were exactly the ones that were on the other side of the road and were only ever allocated for 1 - 2 days during our stay.
The lady in the shop could certainly work on her interaction with guests and be a bit more friendly.
As already mentioned at the beginning, the place is actually beautiful and we would certainly have felt comfortable here if the employees / operators of the place had taken our problems seriously and at least tried to find a solution. As this was unfortunately not the case, I will certainly not be staying at this campsite again.

However, we would like to point out that you asked us to help you with the complete removal of the awning and camping equipment. However, this is not one of the services we can offer our guests.... We have suggested alternative pitches as soon as possible, but we cannot take the removal itself off our guests' hands.

8 days of feel-good camping in the Black Forest
We had a wonderful time at the Kreuzhof campsite
Kreuzhof campsite. Just the sight of the flowers, especially in the entrance area, made our arrival a pleasant one - as did the warm welcome at reception. We were also very pleased that we had a rented bathroom at our disposal during our entire stay.

After all, we wanted to get to our activities exclusively by public transport, which always worked out well.
What else we liked: a well-stocked store on the site with bread service and friendly service, two restaurants on the site and - if we were beer drinkers - the brewery on the site, the friendly cleaning staff, the peace and quiet that you can enjoy, especially around the pond, the good facilities on the site, e.g. washing up and laundry facilities, the good connection to the hiking, cycling and public transport network and the resulting opportunities for leisure activities.
A very, very small minus point was that after the
