Beautifully landscaped grounds, clean and well-maintained restrooms.

There are no gate passes, and you can't enter the grounds after 6:00 p.m.; you have to make special arrangements with the owner, who will then have to come out.
Well-maintained campground
The food buffet at the beach bar was reserved exclusively for a private group of Dutch guests; other campers would have liked to join, but could only buy steak sandwiches. A two-tiered campground. Too bad.

Our first visit
When we arrived at the campsite, we received a very warm welcome. Our first impression was very good. We had booked pitch S3 for our small caravan. Not perfect for a caravan but unfortunately it was the last pitch available. As we were there at the same time as very good friends who had pitch S4 with... a small green area, it suited us very well. The campsite is great and very well thought out. You can see in many points that attention to detail has been paid here. The sanitary building deserves the grade one plus in every respect. Very well equipped, very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The reception is manned by friendly staff at all times. We liked the small kiosk and bread roll service as well as the great beach bar, which unfortunately wasn't very busy during our visit due to bad weather. The location directly on the cycle path along the Lahn and close to shops is perfect.

Very friendly welcome, although the site was actually already full, a place was still found for us. Very clean and well-kept sanitary facilities. Everything is easily accessible and functionally designed. Bread roll service, beach bar, small store, what more could you want. Cycle path goes right past the site, the town is just a few minutes away. We would love to come back.

We had a totally relaxed vacation here. I spent my birthday here and started the new year here.

2 nights in Wetzlar
I stayed at the campsite in Wetzlar for 2 nights with my vintage motorhome. The contact with the staff was courteous and very friendly. Despite the rain, I felt very comfortable there.

Camping Wetzlar , very nice place
A lovely campsite with lots of greenery and beautiful decorations. Many small details make the stay very pleasant. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. There is not only a bread roll - bread - cake service, but also eggs, jam etc. are available here. There is a lounge with TV,... a beach bar and fire pits for barbecues. A cycle path leads directly next to the site to the old town, but also to a large shopping center (Forum) directly on the Lahn. Aldi, Rewe and Ikea are also within walking distance. There are barbecue evenings and an Oktoberfest on the square. Very nice operators or staff? Simply really nice, we would love to come back

Wij were a week op deze camping. Nice small-scale camping with excellent sanitary facilities. Everything was well maintained here. Vriendelijke bejegening van de eigenaar. Er zit een prima grieks restaurant naast de camping.Wij kunnen deze camping aanbevelen....

Fresh rolls, good pitch,
and the baker always had fun!
Not only the dough, but also the guests - he's a great manager!
Groundsman & baker - simply terrific! 🥐⛺

But what makes this place special
is not just the meadow, electricity and roof:
It's the cleanliness... right down to the corners,
the friendliness that awakens everyone.
A team that looks after you professionally
You notice immediately: it's not just a place where you can "do your own thing"!

And watching over everything with heart and ear
a groundsman who knows what belongs in front of it:
A watchful spirit, with time for conversation,
for worries, ideas - yes, even weakness.
Whether it was about technology or simply life -
I always felt that I was in good hands.

It's clear to us that we'll be back here again,
with caravans, hearts and songs.
A real jewel - with humanity as its sparkle.

We've been to the campsite twice now. It has to be said that the reviews here on TripAdvisor still refer to the previous owner and the old campsite. A lot has changed since Patrick took over the campsite. A great sand bar or chill-out lounge invites you to eat, drink, chat and linger. The bathrooms have... been completely redone. There is space for tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are also cabins. The in-house store sells ice cream, drinks and food. Also small souvenirs etc. A lot of love can be seen in all kinds of details ... e.g. the herb garden, where you can help yourself freely. There is a fire pit where you can barbecue or simply make a fire or marshmallows. Special requests are gladly fulfilled. Cool, relaxed, friendly hospitality makes you feel at home here. We are already looking forward to our 3rd visit!

Great campsite tip top clean, nothing is missing
The groundsman and his wife put their heart and soul into running the course. You can see that in every corner. A great deal of importance is attached to tidiness and cleanliness. This is reflected in the sanitary facilities and the outside sink. No matter when you enter the sanitary facilities, you... can see that they are cleaned several times a day.
The pitch is also in a well-kept condition and makes a really great impression.
The beach bar invites you to enjoy a nice chat and delicious cocktails. You can quickly strike up a nice conversation with other guests.
It won't have been my last visit to this place. A big thank you to everyone involved for making the place look the way it did.

Best campsite for exploring the Goethe town of Wetzlar
Patrick and his team's campsite is centrally and beautifully located on the River Lahn. From here you can explore the town of Wetzlar on foot, by bike or boat. In contrast to the inner-city pitches, the campsite has clean and tidy toilets and showers. This was also the main reason for booking here. The pitches are large enough and the whole campsite is well laid out. We felt comfortable and will be back.
