- 2.0CHChristine H.august 20262.0CHChristine H.august 2026PositiveThe showers 🚿 were very private, and the privacy in that area was 👍NegativThere’s no soap in the shower, and the hair dryer only lasts long enough to dry hair for 3 minutes. They charge money for the trampolines, which were completely worn out. There’s really no store—you can’t get practically anything. No fruit, no vegetables, and very few dairy products besides milk and butter. When the weather was nice, you had no chance of getting a lounge chair outside. It can’t be right that you have to reserve a lounge chair all day just to have one.CuteI just expected more from a 5-star place. The dishwasher ran out of salt for two days. You couldn't hang anything in the drying room because everything was taken for a whole week while it was raining heavily.Automatisk oversat.Ingen campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. You could expect more for €125. The pitches are not particularly nice either. The campsite has all the amenities you could wish for and more. Sauna, wellness, bathing paradise, ....... and you wouldn't believe it a go-kart track for the kids. But I saved the best for last! I've only ever seen bathrooms with a toilet, shower and washbasin here and there are more than enough of them. I haven't seen shower and toilet batteries like this or I wasn't interested in them. If you like and have little awning or roofing, you can rent a cable car gondola to use as a dining and recreation room. You could go on forever listing all the great things there are here. We will definitely be backNegativThat would be whining at a high level and not worth mentioning. The best we've had so farThere are certainly many great campsites! But the Zugspitzresort with its connection to the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn to the Zugspitze is very special. This campsite sets the bar very high for the competition. We are still here but we are already looking forward to a comebackAutomatisk oversat.Ingen campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. Vær den første!

Ground pegs are an advantageVery good campsiteA very nice campsite in the middle of the Zugspitzarena, well and cleanly run.
Direct gondola ride to the Zugspitze possible.
Everything else easy to reach with the local public transport.

Great swimming pool with various saunas, amazing children's area whether indoor or outdoor. We visited the restaurant 3 times with the afternoon menu. The food was very tasty, the staff totally cordial and nice, comparable in price to other... restaurants or the huts. The sanitary area is one of the best we have seen on campsites. Great panorama. It really was a great week with you, even if the campsite is certainly one of the more expensive ones in terms of price. We would love to come back

Ferdinand R.oktober 20224.0Ferdinand R.oktober 2022PositiveSuper location, very well maintained, clean wash houses, use of wellness/sauna/swimming pool possible, restaurant very good, great service, very friendlyNegativcomparatively expensive, the store is also very expensive. for example, 1x bread roll costs €1.50 and is not even particularly "great". so that's ok (location etc.) but you should be aware of it. otherwise the WLAN coverage is good, but the connection is technically unstable. In addition, it was not clearly communicated to me personally that the electricity is billed according to kWh (currently costs a hefty 1€)Mega location, very well maintained, only two small disadvantagesI really enjoyed my stay. The small disadvantages didn't detract from the fun :-)Automatisk oversat.1 camper fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. - 5.0SSStefan S.august 20225.0SSStefan S.august 2022PositiveGreat locationNegativNothingSuper campsite with a great viewGreat location on the Zugspitze. The sanitary facilities are top clean and very well maintained. You can use all the hotel facilities - especially suitable for children from 4 years to 16 years. The sauna is a great place to relax: steam sauna, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, salt grotto and infrared cabins leave nothing to be desired. - 5.0LHLisa H.august 20225.0LHLisa H.august 2022PositiveVery nice view, quiet, large, luxurious pitches, amazing children's bathing area. Great childcare, super restaurant, excellent play area and top sanitary facilitiesNegativFastening the awning is a challengeTop view of the mountains! We had a great time at the Zugspitze. Very nice staff everywhere. Mega sanitary facilities with free dryer and dishwasher (tabs needed). There is even a bathtub. For our dwarfs 3 years the hit :-)
The playroom is lovely. And there is super great childcare.
We found the children's swimming area particularly... remarkable. There really is everything there, from a giant pirate ship, several slides for all ages and an extra toddler pool. Very well-kept, top sanitary everywhere.
Plus a top restaurant. And the surrounding area makes for great excursions. However, you need a car for this.
However, we were thrilled all round and will be back next year.Automatisk oversat.1 camper fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. - 5.0GHGerhard H.juni 20225.0GHGerhard H.juni 2022Positivelarge pitch with water and waste water, direct view of the Zugspitze, short walk to the gondola on the Zugspitze large selection of bread rolls in the store.Negativyou really need a car to go on excursions Cycling is only for people who ride daily or have an e-bike. The windows in the showers are unfortunately not openable, which makes it very warm in there, you can only leave the door open after leaving the shower so that the heat and humidity can escape.Quiet location, large pitches, clean sanitary buildingThe campsite is in a really beautiful location right next to the Zugspitze.
You can also walk from there to the gondola and take a trip to the Zugspitze.
The sanitary facilities are very clean. The shower cubicle is very large and also has a toilet.
The shower is very large.
From the campsite you can drive to Grainau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen or all the way to Ettal.

As a camper, you can enjoy all the benefits of a hotel. The wellness oasis and children's area are a dream. The drying room is perfect in the cold season! The sanitary facilities are probably more modern than those in many private homes. Nothing is missing! Not to be compared with classic camping... especially suitable in the fall/winter season
keep it up.... we will be backAutomatisk oversat.4 campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. - 5.0JSJulia S.august 20215.0JSJulia S.august 2021PositiveFull range of hotel facilities for shared use.NegativRental bathrooms = shower cubicles a relic from days gone by.Feel-good place in the AlpsGreat campsite in the Alps for families with children. Breathtaking mountain panorama of the Zugspitze and Wetterstein mountains. Good starting point for hikes and other excursions. The resort consists of a hotel and campsite, whereby camping guests can basically use all the hotel amenities. If you have... children, the swimming pool and kids' club with an extensive program including daily cinema screenings are particularly interesting, but the sauna, gym and restaurant are also available to campers. The swimming pool is especially great for younger children, there is a huge paddling area with smaller slides, but also two competition slides for older children.
There are two new sanitary areas on the campsite with so-called "private bathrooms". Large, clean areas with small bathrooms containing a shower, toilet and washbasin in sufficient numbers. No more individual washbasins, no hairdryer areas etc.. A completely new sanitary concept for us. In addition to these bathrooms, there is an older, classic wash house as well as the "rental bathrooms", which are getting on in years and are no longer used by anyone due to the new sanitary concept. We were kind enough to return the key for the bathroom and were not charged for it. It would have been nice if we could have rented one of the new bathrooms for ourselves.
All in all, definitely one of the best places we've stayed so far.Automatisk oversat.3 campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. - 5.0LKLin K.juli 20215.0LKLin K.juli 2021PositiveLuxury campsite in a prime location. Great restaurant. Courteous, friendly service. Professional childcare. Clean sanitary facilitiesNegativSmall drawback if you are traveling with others: Reservation of the pitch number cannot be guaranteed. But it worked anyway.Best campsite! If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive campsite without infrastructure, this is not the place for you.
Here you get pure luxury!
We'd been here twice before the renovation and were amazed at what an already great campsite can add.
Despite 3 days of rainy weather, we were never bored. The resort... has something for everyone. Great food, nice bar, competent and continuous childcare until the evening, with lots of play options for young and old (indoor go-kart track, climbing paradise, slide paradise, chill-out area, playgrounds, trampolines, etc.). Large fitness room, plenty of opportunities to relax, adults-only wellness area, family wellness, toddler area.
The children had a lot of fun, so the adults could relax and enjoy it just as much.
We had booked comfort seats in the area behind the wash house. Great view (see picture), sufficiently large; equipped with electricity, water, sewage and SAT.
The sanitary area is clean, large and luxurious.
In the same building there are also equipped kitchens with dishwasher, a seating area and a drying room with washing machine / dryer etc. Especially for bad summer days and cold winter days this campsite is simply brilliant.
COVID-19: Disinfectant dispensers are everywhere. We had to get used to the fact that masks are not compulsory in the restaurants in Austria, although we were able to check in online in advance, we still had to wait a relatively long time at reception to check in. We found it reassuring that our vaccination QR codes were checked regularly (at check-in, in the restaurant...).
We'll be back soon!Automatisk oversat.3 campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. - 5.0CDChristoph D.juni 20215.0CDChristoph D.juni 2021PositiveVery friendly and attentive staff Large pitches for caravans and motorhomes Modern and very clean sanitary facilities Very family-friendly Fun and games for young and old Delicious food in the restaurantNegativThe rented bathrooms are outdated compared to the general sanitary facilities and are nowhere near the quality of the general sanitary facilitiesA great time at the Zugspitz Resort campsiteThe spacious campsite is located just outside Ehrwald, right next to the valley station of the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn and directly adjacent to the Zugspitz Resort Hotel and Appartement Haus. The pitches for caravans and motorhomes are laid out in terraces and offer ample space even for large motorhomes... or caravans. The staff at the central reception were very attentive and extremely friendly and helpful. The resort offered something suitable for all visitors, whether swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), go-cart track (indoor and outdoor), play area, very well-equipped fitness room, wellness area and much more. The sanitary facilities are very clean, modern and well equipped, especially the private bathrooms in the new bathhouse are very appealing. The only point of criticism is the rental bathrooms, which are outdated and cannot keep up with the new sanitary facilities. There is a small store where you can buy fresh bread rolls every day (arrive in good time) and other small items for everyday use. The restaurant offers a large selection of dishes, which tasted very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.Automatisk oversat.3 campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom.

- 5.0FZFamilia Z.juli 20205.0FZFamilia Z.juli 2020PositiveLocation is perfect for hikers, ebikers, mountain bikers and families Great indoor pool, which is pure paradise for children Super modern Sanitary facilities at their best (no comparison ever seen on CP) Indoor playground for kids in the resort Store available Bus connection Super friendly staffNegativExpensive. It's a different kind of camping as we know it from the past. Glamping! But you also get something Baby pool: the temperature in the room is so hot that we were really afraid of heat exhaustion. You can't stay in there for long. It's too draughty outside with babies and there are only 4 shells to fly in, so there's no shade (e.g. umbrellas)Perfect location, beautiful resort to share, hefty pricesWe had a great stay there. We didn't take a luxury pitch and it was very unloving. Just gravel, no plants, no boundaries and still around €70 per night with tourist tax and everything... The luxury pitches are nicely laid out but even more expensive. You pay for the location on the Zugspitze.
There is... a lot of construction going on at the back, but we only heard the construction noise around 8am. Many new pitches are being added at the back
