"Too bad... - We were there for one night at the beginning of June 2019. Unfortunately it was enough. The place lives from its hotel and restaurant. It works very well. But we couldn't and didn't want to test it. The pitches for camper vans and caravans are all on several large pitches with no separation. This means that you are standing with maybe 15 others on a football pitch-like (only gravel instead of grass) and sun-drenched pitch. That can be tough. We were lucky that we were the only campers on the whole site with another camper van. Nevertheless, the 37 degrees gave us the rest. The sanitary facilities are typically Italian, but you quickly realize that not too much value is placed on campers here or that they no longer come. More on this in a moment. The sanitary facilities are populated by geckos and swallows building their nests. They haven't been cleaned for a while, but this is only noticeable at second glance due to the low usage. Everything seems somehow "abandoned". A picture that we had to experience more often in Italy. It's a shame, because the beach is wonderful and the restaurant certainly is too. In any case, it really looks good. The supermarket on the square has probably been closed for years. You can see through the windows that it is now used as storage space. This is probably because the site is very remote. You could say: "in the middle of nowhere." The nearest supermarket is 4 km away and, according to our camper neighbor, there is no drinking water on the site. There's not much to do here apart from swimming. The beach is nice sand which then turns into large gravel. I think the campsite is a destination for many locals to go swimming or eating. What a shame, the campsite has real potential! The price should also be mentioned: It was really cheap, although the electricity is charged in kWh. If you don't have air conditioning on board, you can get away with it very cheaply! We paid 14.70 euros for one night and 2 kWh.

"Motorhome - We were here with the Womo in March 17. Everything to our satisfaction. Water and electricity at the pitch. Very quiet restorant open. Food very good. And reasonably priced.

" - Vacation park; split site: one half campsite, one half rental cottages. Parceled out (not so precise in winter), flat, gravelled, plenty of electricity boxes and water taps available. Due to the proximity to the railroad and the main road (SS106), it is unfortunately a bit noisy, especially at night! Electricity is billed by meter - 0.35 euros per kilowatt! Children's playground (on the beach, in the sand); large, extensive sandy beach "on the doorstep"; restaurant; washing machines; several sanitary buildings; large store (in season, pre-order bread rolls out of season!); w-lan (2 euros/day - 30 per month). The site is popular with over-winterers. Good transit site on the way south!
