- David K.June 2024PositiveVery nice quiet & clean campsite... very well maintained and well locatedNegativNo disadvantagesSuper nice campsiteWe stayed at the campsite for the first time. We called a week before arrival and asked if there was anything available. The owner was very nice and speaks perfect German. We were 2 people with a dog (German Shepherd) and a caravan. You get a site plan and can choose your own pitch. The site is very... well maintained and clean. The toilets and washrooms are also always very clean. The site is beautifully situated. On the left side entrance/exit you walk 500 meters to the supermarket. On the right side you are after about 500 meters on the beach (car beach). Past the restaurant, burger store and one of the best ice cream parlors ever. There are also good hiking trails around the campsite perfect for people with dogs. A really nice little quiet campsite. We felt very comfortable during the 14 days. For us one of the most beautiful campsites with a dog... We will definitely be back ...Automatisk oversat.
- Antonio F.August 2018Negativnonesmall and resourcefulIt is a small campground not far from the beautiful beach. There are no special facilities inside, but the friendliness and resourcefulness of the manager, who is full of good ideas, makes it particularly interesting and welcoming.Automatisk oversat.
- Rolf K.August 2017PositiveClean; good location for exploring the surrounding area (Skagen, Rubjerg Knude); 500 meters to the beachNegativCEE sockets not available throughout; heavy rain turns pitches into Kneipp pools, some pitches are critical for campers; susceptible to windNice place with a very friendly operatorWe stayed at the campsite for 5 nights on our trip to Denmark. We received a very friendly welcome with perfect German. We were allowed to choose our pitches from those available. The pitches are very large and it's easy to keep the prescribed distance from your neighbors. The power connection is right... on the pitch, but not all pitches have CEE connections, which is no longer up to date and is critical in heavy rain. We had water in the plug. Unfortunately, strong winds and rain ultimately drove us off the pitch prematurely with our folding caravan. The water seeps away very badly on the pitch. Rubber boots are therefore advisable. During our visit, there was 3-5 cm of water on the pitches for up to 2 days after heavy rain. There is only real wind protection if you occupy the first pitches directly after the wash house. Some of the sanitary facilities are no longer the latest but are always very clean. The campsite operator makes every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. On one evening there were pancakes, on another popcorn with live music and of course beer. There is a supermarket (Spar) in the village, which is also open on Sundays. All in all, if the weather is good, a very recommendable and quiet place, centrally located for excursions, close to the beach (500 meters, where seals cavort) and with reasonable prices.Automatisk oversat.
- Volker K.September 2016PositiveFriendliness, clean place and sanitary facilities, wifi, showers, electricity and dogs includedNegativnoneTop placeNice friendly welcome (owner speaks perfect German). Very quiet site with older permanent campers where you feel very comfortable even as a tourist. As the reception is not always manned, you look for your own pitch and register later. The campsite is only a few minutes' walk from a huge beach, which... you can also access by car, as is usual in Denmark. There are also bunkers from the 2nd World War in the dunes. There is a supermarket (Spar) within a reasonable distance. There are plenty of sanitary facilities and they are very clean. The site is ideal for a stopover in Sweden, as the ferry port of Frederikshavn is only 35 kilometers away. If you book online, you can get cheap connections (Stenaline) to Gothenburg and the owner of the campsite will help you with this. Wifi (very good reception), electricity, hot showers and dogs are included in the price. A site that you should visit more than once.Automatisk oversat.
- Peter K.May 2016Great placeThe pitch is in the 2nd row behind the village buildings. The sanitary facilities are clean and very spacious. There are showers with and without toilets, individual toilets and toilets with washbasins. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The site is very quiet. The operator is very friendly.... Two supermarkets are 5 minutes away on foot. To the beach as well. The beach is accessible by car. There are many excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Hiking, cycling, canoeing...... At night it is heavenly quiet, including the sound of the waves. Lovely. Prices low season ca.26€ high season ca.36€Automatisk oversat.
- Heidrun L.June 2012We know the course from before and are pleasantly surprised. The new owner is very friendly and has turned the site into a jewel on Tennisbybucht. Very well-kept pitches and sanitary facilities. The beach is only 5 minutes away and the small town of Tversted has everything you could wish for.Automatisk oversat.
