"Super vacation - The campsite has everything you need. The sanitary facilities are an absolute highlight. We've never seen them so nice and clean. The operators are very nice and very helpful. There is a large playground for the children and also a games room if the weather doesn't play ball. Great views and a great starting point for visiting many sights. The Liechtensteinklamm gorge is well worth a visit. We'll be back, we still haven't discovered everything in this beautiful region.

"Noisy street, many permanent campers - On closer inspection, the Sonnenterrassen-Camping in Sankt Veit presents itself as a place with light and dark sides, where the practicality of the processes is particularly noticeable. The overnight stay is marred by several cumbersome processes that make arriving unnecessarily difficult. Even registration requires the completion of a comprehensive form, which seems outdated and cumbersome in times of digital solutions. Added to this is the idiosyncratic rule that payment can only be made the next day - a procedure that does not come close to modern campsite standards. Another major point of criticism is the restrictive card payment limit of €50, which is almost impossible to reach if you are traveling as a couple without electricity (€49.50). This forces guests who only want to pay by card to make an unnecessary cash withdrawal. A look at the prices reveals further inconsistencies: A beer from the vending machine for €3.20 is overpriced, even by campsite standards. It is particularly annoying that the return of deposit bottles is refused at reception. The atmosphere of the campsite is dominated by permanent campers. This can be perceived as less inviting for travelers looking for a relaxed and open camping community. However, the clean condition of the sanitary facilities is a positive feature. These are obviously well maintained and contribute to the comfort of the guests, which is a welcome exception in view of the shortcomings mentioned.

Our top campsite (4-star evaluation by the DCC!) lies at 700m above sea-level with splendid panoramic views in the middle of the Salzach Valley, in the "Sportwelt Amade" holiday region at the edge of the "climatic spa of St. Veit" …in the Pongau. Wonderful scenery, sites divided into terraces planted with trees and bushes. All pitches are equipped with connections for electricity, cable TV, water and drains. Enjoy your holiday in our family-run business with personal care. Exemplary sanitation facilities, dry room for skis, washing-up room and laundry room (tumble drier). You can find small snacks, everyday items, a sandwhich service at our small kiosk. All leisure facilities can be used free of charge. Young people's room with games machines, table tennis, games corner, children's play area. Free ski bus transfer, nearby Tauern cycle track. Summer joker available. Not far away: experience swimming pool, rafting, hiking & trekking, cycling, tennis & squash, golf, fishing, riding and culture Our campsite promises you a wonderful, central and sunny position. All pitches have 90-100m² and they all are equipped with electricity, water and waste water, cable TV, canal, gas supply and Wifi.
