Direct shallow access to the lake with a beautiful bathing area and jetty.
Negativ
Pitches very small and cramped, Sanitary facilities outdated and the water is ankle-deep.
Lake camping like thirty years ago
Even the access roads to the parking spaces are restricted by hedges.
Advertised are 70 - 90m²,
our pitch was only 50m²,
The campers are lined up
campers lined up close together.
Power distributor ...a wonder box.
The sanitary facilities urgently need to be modernized and expanded, and you are standing... ankle-deep in water at the washbasin.
In short - the site has been in a renovation backlog for 30 years and
and the pitches are very small.
Yet the location would be great for a small
vacation oasis?

Was quite OK
A campsite surrounded by other pitches on Lake Ossiach with its own bathing beach including jetty. We were "parked" in front of the actual campsite on a green meadow, as there were no other free pitches available according to our wishes (2 motorhomes standing opposite each other), but this was not a... problem. Our pitches were on green grass, very quiet and right next to the sanitary block, which was very clean. We also had electricity and drinking water in the immediate vicinity. If you order in good time, you can get fresh bread rolls at the pitch in the morning. In the evening there was also a chicken vendor with a snack bar and you got chicken and chips even though you hadn't ordered (be careful: tip first before you do the math, for us the "reasonable" tip was already included in the purchase price). For small purchases, you have to walk 5 minutes to a competitor, although the prices here are slightly higher than the Austrian average. And always remember, camper van drivers greet each other.
