Reception is helpful, even if the requested bus routes and T-Bana lines were given incorrectly and we had to help ourselves with the internet again

Dirty and outdated sanitary facilities, place without flair, many foreign workers who live here and do not give the place a vacation feeling
No recommendation for this place
After ten years of camping, we know that camping is rarely a luxury, but we have never experienced a site so uncomfortable and dirty. We were even unsure whether our caravan would still be standing after our city trip, we had such a bad feeling here. We actually wanted to stay three nights, but were happy to leave early after two nights

Almost only construction workers' caravans, price-performance ratio not right
Good for a visit to Stockholm, less so for a vacation
Were there for a short visit because of Stockholm visit, PLatz is full of workers who live in caravans, places partly very crooked. Sanitary facilities were just under construction / renewal day ticket for train / bus available (120 SEK for 24h) BUshaltestelle 2 min from the CP, by bus to Dangeryds Sjukhus, from there with Tunnelbana to the city center possible

It's not a campsite for a three-week vacation, but it's ideal for a few days!
Ideal campsite for a visit to Stockholm
** Update 2017** We have been to this site in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016 and will be going again in 2017. There was a lot of construction noise in 2016 as new camping cabins, actually houses, were being built. But since the construction work was during the day and we were traveling in Stockholm, it didn't... bother us. The staff is still very friendly and helpful, we recognize them, although this place is really very busy. Something should really be done about the sanitary facilities. They are okay and clean, but quite used up. But maybe they will surprise us with new facilities this year. In any case, it's wonderful to come back in the evening after a day in Stockholm and go for a swim in the lake... If you walk away from the campsite, about 5 minutes, you are on your own and can swim naked without any problems. We are always amazed at how quiet it is at night on this site, even though it is in the middle of the city... Incidentally, in winter there is a floodlit cross-country ski trail that runs directly from the campsite along the lake.... ****** Evaluation from 2011: we were very impressed by this site, centrally located, but still quiet, right on a lake with a swimming area, approx. 10 minutes by car to Stockholm, public transport in the immediate vicinity. Staff very nice and very helpful. Sanitary facilities are checked and cleaned from early to late. Small kiosk with the essentials and fresh bread rolls. Ideal for a city stay. We will definitely be back.

Good transport links to Stockholm, quiet location outside the city. Helpful staff at the reception.

As a starting point for Stockholm sightseeing, there are no disadvantages (for us)!
Ideal for Stockholm tourists, quiet location.
Located just outside and very quiet. Directly on the lake with a large bathing area (also used as a public lido). Sanitary facilities are simple, but adequate and clean. Gamla Stan is 40 minutes away by bus and subway. Bus stop is a 5-minute walk away, bus runs every 15 minutes (30 minutes at weekends).... At reception you can buy tickets, order bread rolls, get maps and various brochures for offers in Stockholm. Plenty of space even in the high season.

Kemp is not sufficiently maintained; switchback ruined; water and beach dirty and unkempt (lounged around garbage. Staff curt. Information given is inadequate. The social background of a hill at an adequate level. Only rather to sleep near Stockholm. The impression rather gray. Price disproportionate.

old and loveless equipment, no playground
Very nice location, but loveless place
The only advantage of the place is the location close to Stockholm, very good connection with public transport and the location of the campsite itself, on the lake directly in the forest, beware of mosquitoes ;-). But that was it with the advantages! Very loveless campsite, old sanitary facilities, partly... dirty, old kitchen equipment, no playground directly on the square, only a few swings on the lake, the advertised water slide not in operation and looked very run down. Place is used a lot by workers working in Stockholm. So only a place to recommend only if you need an overnight stay for Stockholm, but not suitable for vacation.
