"I was completely disappointed - Can only be used for an overnight stay for transit to the north or south. The site is used by permanent campers. Guests get the barely usable rest. A lot of noise in the evening from the adjacent road and the permanent campers. No possibility of disposing of the toilet tank or emptying the waste water tank. Filling up with fresh water is possible. W-Lan reception possible but occasionally weak.

Profil

Nordnes Kro og Camping is idyllically located by the E6 in Saltdal, 20 km south of Rognan, right by the beautiful Saltdal River. This is more than just a campsite — there is also an inn that combines local food …culture with comfort and a warm atmosphere. The place is run by Tommy Edvardsen and Lisa Grimstad. Tommy took over the operation from his parents in 1989 and further developed the campsite, while the inn was established in connection with the reopening of the E6 through Saltdal in 1995. Lisa has contributed with great interest in food culture and traditions, including the development of local food culture, and she is behind Traditional Food Day – an annual event that focuses on old food traditions. The menu consists largely of traditional Norwegian food made from local ingredients. A signature dish is møsbrømlefsen, which is particularly popular with guests. Camping and facilities: Green and lush among beautiful hanging birches and by the riverbank you will find our campsite with 25 rental pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tent. We also have 14 cabins and 1 house for rent. The campsite is modern and well-equipped. The location provides good opportunities for nature experiences: the river, nearby national parks, nice bike routes and beautiful surroundings. For guests arriving by train, bus or electric car there are good solutions and arrangements, as well as the possibility of transport from the nearest station (Røkland) by arrangement. In the middle of the campsite we have a spacious, warm and clean service house with toilets, shower rooms, laundry room and kitchen. Campsite are open all year around.
