"Unfriendly reception, loud air traffic in the morning hours - Unfriendly reception, pitches but OK, sanitary facilities more than worthy of improvement, restaurant well, no real friendliness either. One night as a transit more than enough.

"Beautiful city campsite - 1. campsite 2. Budapest To 1. we were there for a few days to see Budapest and were very happy with this campsite. It has everything a campsite needs. The sanitary facilities were basic but clean. Hot water for showers is free and if you catch a low shower time, the water is almost too hot for showering. Unfortunately, the water for washing dishes outside is not even lukewarm. Otherwise, everything is available in sufficient numbers for me and the VE, supply and disposal of the motorhome is also good. There is a large area of gravelled motorhome and caravan pitches and a meadow for tents, which is also used by smaller mobile homes. There are plenty of power points, but all of them only have Schuko sockets! There is a restaurant on the site with open and closed seating. The young women at the registration desk are very friendly and some speak German. We paid 17 euros per night with the ASCI card. The pictures of the operator posted above are up-to-date. 2. right at the exit of the campsite, take the footpath on the right to the main road and up it to the right. There is a Coop supermarket just before the end. A little further on is the subway station. The metro is recommended for a trip into the city center, as Budapest has no cycle paths and the streets are very busy. From the metro station there, it is only five stops to the city center and a single journey costs the equivalent of around 1.20 euros. (German-speaking ticket machines). We were able to pay for everything in the city with euros or bank cards.

"Well located campsite in the center of Budapest! quiet - We were there in the summer of 2018 and were very pleasantly surprised for a city campsite. Small shady pitches with meadow, very friendly staff. A little too few toilets and showers. Due to the central location we were able to explore Budapest by bike. Shopping facilities directly nearby. Restaurant also on site, but we didn't visit it. We had expected a lot more noise - rather quiet for this location! Price adjusted to the big city.
