"very beautiful, but not for normal cars - we planned to stay here, but the route was terrible, very steep and sandy dirt road. We visisted the place, but we wanted to make excursions to other places, and didn't want to drive on this road every day. The children protested to stay, because of Balkan toilet. We left, but it was very difficult to get up from the campsite on the steep, sandy road

"Directly on the beach - Super nice little campsite. Access road not suitable for motorhomes. We were there in the high season. It was very crowded and the sanitary facilities were not designed for the masses or not maintained enough. Otherwise a great beach with great snorkeling opportunities. Nice and hard-working operators. Definitely an absolute dream outside the high season.

"A pearl - After we discovered this beautiful little place, we stayed until the end of our vacation. Everything was very simple, but very idyllic, with lots of greenery and right by the sea. Beautiful, secluded beach with clear water, no ugly sun loungers or the like. Adventurous approach, which you should definitely look up on Google Maps beforehand (no sign). Doable by car or minibus. We would have risked it with a small caravan. It worked, but it was adventurous.

Profil

"Gate to Horison" - It has taken the name because of the natural beauty that sorrounds that place. Amazing and different sunsets and moonsets and a great view of the horison that gave the name to this place. "Llaka e …Bredhanit" is called the area down by the beach on the Albanian Riviera, part of Lukove village where the camping is situated. It is a plantation of old olive and different citrus trees that offer a great deal of shade and freshness during hot days of summer. It is a location for the adventurous holiday peace and nature lovers. The campingsite is considered as a quiet place for relaxing holidays, all in all surrounded by nature and very low on buildings which turns this place into a superb place for nature lovers. Also there are activities at the campsite like hiking, diving, wind surfing etc. You can come and set up your own tent and use camping facilities as normal. There is a grill for use to anyone who enjoyes to BBQ. In our camp you will also find Bio products from the village and also Bio olive oil from the olive and citrus trees that are there. The restaurant offers great taste of Ionian sea fresh products together with Bio products from the nearby village. Friendly environment and nice people will make your holidays in Albania worthwhile.

If you're coming from Saranda, follow the SH8 road north for about 25 km until you reach the village of Lukova. Drive through the village and follow the signs toward the beach/Llaka e Bredhanit. The campsite is set in an old …olive grove close to the sea – you won’t miss it.
