Allgäu up close... now for the 2nd time!
...great country idyll, no overcrowded CP ...here you park directly on the flower meadow. The whole cliché is fulfilled here ... cowbells, endless forests with beautiful hiking trails, lumberjacks felling huge trees, mountainous flowering meadows, various torrents and a rustic inn is also within walking... distance. There is no mini-market here and no opportunities to buy anything around the corner. The sanitary facilities are rather basic but always clean! If you're looking for a vacation with an authentic flair, this is the place for you.

Recommendable
The courtyard makes a very tidy impression, there is a lot going on for children. Despite full occupancy, there is still plenty of space for a tent.

Here at Ewald Maurus there is everything a child's heart desires. A small campsite surrounded by greenery where children feel completely at ease, a play barn, pony rides, a petting zoo, a river with a bathing area nearby (500 m) and the Malleichen restaurant just 500 m away. If you are looking for peace... and relaxation, this is the right place for you, but you should take it down a few notches in terms of comfort. The sanitary facilities are small but adequate. There is a bread roll service, 2 lounges with billiard tables, TV and drinks machines. Entertainment for the children by Ewald the boss, tractor rides etc. In the evening there is also a campfire with stick bread on request. For us it was the perfect family vacation.

Pure peace and relaxation
Family-run CP. Located away from the road and totally quiet. Simple facilities but ok. Ewald always makes the rounds and has time for a little chat for everyone

Absolutely quietly situated CP on a farm far away from roads. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Excursion restaurant with beer garden within walking distance. Approach well signposted

Camping in its original form, which is not necessarily a bad thing! Only the number and condition of the sanitary facilities can be criticized when the site is well occupied. As there are no CE sockets, the "modern" camper should "retrofit".

A quiet place on a farm. There is a lot on offer, stick bread, carriage rides, pony rides and much more. Camping is still camping here.

Maurus campsite "In der Höll 1" (near Röthenberg): A campsite on a farm - directly on the Boden-Königssee cycle path. A little paradise with cats, calves, donkeys - and a llama. The sanitary facilities are simple but ok. Showers included. There is a recreation room with a drinks machine. One kilometer... away there is a well-frequented restaurant with rustic food at moderate prices. There are no breakfast rolls on Sunday. All in all, you have to have been there!
