Nice place with a good supermarket. Staff very friendly. A path leads directly from the campsite to the river and along it. Sanitary facilities new and very clean.

Very centrally located for car tours, but also for hikes directly from the campsite
Very spacious site with large pitches for caravans and very friendly staff. Language problems are solved very well as everyone is very helpful. The sanitary facilities and swimming pool are very good, but you shouldn't expect German standards. The only really annoying thing is the road that runs right... by the campsite. It is very busy during the day and really loud. The ADAC camping guide says "expressway within earshot", which refers to the A9, but it doesn't really bother you, it's more the small one that bothers you, and only on the grass pitches. If you're on the gravel pitches below, it's probably not so bad. We put up with it and were almost only out and about anyway. We can only recommend this site for long trips by car. It is very centrally located and within 2-3 hours you can reach many places worth seeing, such as Inverness in the north, Aberdeen in the east, Edinburgh in the south and Fort Wiliam in the west. There are also very nice walks from the site. To sum up, we can definitely recommend it!
