"Uncomplicated place in a beautiful location - Lots of space, located directly on the Weser at a ferry with a good restaurant. What more could you want? Sanitary facilities simple but in good order and clean. On public holidays when the site is well occupied, it could perhaps get a bit crowded, I can imagine. Good starting point for motorcycling, cycling and hiking. Very friendly groundsman.

" - Vi er kommet på pladsen gennem mange år. Pladsen ligger en dagsrejse fra Danmark og vi benytter pladsen som første eller sidste stop på vores ferie. Her er pæne og rene faciliteter. Altid en venlig og imødekommende behandling af Herr Köster og hans personale. Husk en lang forlængerledning hvis du vil ligge direkte ved floden Weser. Du kan spise udmærket i restauranten eller du kan handle 500 m fra pladsen i byens lille supermarked med friskt brød og delikatesser mm.

The Weserterrassen Campsite is located in the beautiful Weserbergland, offering 150 pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Situated right on the Weser River, the campsite provides stunning views of the river and the surrounding nature. It's the perfect place to …escape the daily grind and enjoy peace and quiet – ideal for families, friends, singles, seniors, as well as motorcyclists and cyclists who want to take a break along the popular EuroVelo 5 route. Our campsite is a great starting point for many leisure activities in the area. Nearby, you’ll find fantastic hiking and cycling trails that showcase the full beauty of the Weserbergland. In addition to our green pitches, we also offer comfortable holiday rooms and apartments. These rooms provide a peaceful retreat and come fully equipped with everything you need for your stay by the Weser. Our Weserterrassen Restaurant serves regional specialties made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. During the warmer months, you can dine on our spacious terrace or in the beer garden by the river while enjoying the view. Perfect for a tasty lunch or a cozy dinner at sunset. For even more variety, we offer walks with llamas and alpacas. These walks take you along the Weser River and through the beautiful nature of the Weserbergland – an experience for both young and old. Additionally, there are many other recreational options such as a children's playground, outdoor pool, tennis court, and golf course. The Weserbergland also offers numerous hiking and cycling paths. For culture enthusiasts, the cities of Hameln and Holzminden are definitely worth a visit! We look forward to welcoming you! =)
