"Waldsee-Camp Roth - disappointment all along the line - 🚽 The toilets are dirty even after supposed cleaning - really unhygienic and absolutely unpleasant. 🏊‍♀️ Swimming in the lake? According to the description possible - in reality totally unattractive, more like a murky pond than a bathing lake. 📶 Internet? Supposedly available - but doesn't work. Neither WLAN nor mobile network, you are completely cut off. 🛑 Lunchtime quiet from 1pm to 3pm - including a playground ban! How do you explain to a child that they're not allowed to swing for two hours? That doesn't feel like a vacation, it feels like an educational institution. 🛒 There is supposed to be a mini-market at reception - but there's no sign of it. And the reception itself is also on break from 1pm to 3pm, although there is little or nothing to do there anyway. 🚧 The barrier to the entrance and exit is also closed during the lunch break - so if you have to leave spontaneously, you can park your car somewhere outside beforehand and then walk for 5-7 minutes. Impractical and totally inflexible. 👎 Children's entertainment? There is - in theory. But the lady in charge was so unfriendly that even my son, who is actually very open, didn't want to stay there alone. I had to accompany him - not a trace of child-friendly. 🚗 And now for the best part: there are almost no parking spaces outside - parking is prohibited everywhere. You're in the middle of the forest and yet you're not allowed to park anywhere. Logic? Not at all. It's just badly planned and not family-friendly. 🌲Tree felling work right next to the pitch - completely unannounced, the car was full of dust. You don't need something like that on vacation! 🎯 Conclusion: Lots of rules, little service, no real hospitality. Absolutely not recommended for families. A place to get annoyed, not to relax. We will definitely never come back. "** Guys, it's just a campsite - not a boot camp. You come here to be free, not to collect regulations. Typical Bavaria, where even the swing needs a midday rest.

"Small, somewhat outdated, but beautiful place - We used the site as a transit site from our vacation back home and stayed there for 2 days. We had a relatively spacious pitch, T004, where our camper van (9m) plus van fitted without any problems. Children's entertainment was offered, which our little one gladly accepted. The lake wasn't really inviting for a swim, it was just too green for us due to the temperatures. There were lots of transit campers. The site is 75% occupied by permanent campers, some of whom have built adventurous huts around their vehicles. Lake access only possible at one point on the site, but there is a large meadow right next to the site that can be used as a bathing beach. Bread rolls can be ordered from the restaurant and are ready for collection by 8 a.m. at the latest. Prices are the same as in the bakery, so no extortionate surcharges like on some other sites. Very friendly staff. The wash houses are cleaned twice a day by an external company. Access: depending on where you're coming from, the satnav takes you through a wooded area, but we got there normally via the road. But we also used the other route to explore the area. Certainly very adventurous with a trailer :)

"Vacation at the forest lake? - We were allocated a plot with the main access road to the permanent pitches on the right, a table tennis table to the front (approx. 5 m), the storage and catering area of the restaurant behind it, a storage shed to the left with a parking lot for the restaurant staff in front of it. no sign of grass. The janitors of the site are three permanent campers who are the go-to people for everything. They mow the lawn, carry out repairs, but also replenish supplies for the restaurant. The reception staff are constantly changing but very friendly. Nobody really feels responsible. We checked three times whether it was really a commercial enterprise (GmbH & Co KG) or a permanent campsite run as an association.

"Vacation Camping Waldsee - The campsite is well maintained, partial shade is provided, access to the lake is fine for small children. For runners, hikers and cyclists there are plenty of paths to explore in the forest and surroundings! Paths are well paved in the forest! The sanitary facilities for me are cleaned daily! Of course, if you walk on the freshly cleaned floor immediately after cleaning, there are of course fresh traces, this as not clean Santitä anrankern is nonsense with the amount of people! I can't say much about the staff, they are inconspicuous! The ones I met were friendly!

"Very nice place with "rough edges" - Very friendly and humorous staff and operators. The site is beautifully embedded in a natural environment. The approach and driveway is a bit narrow but also feasible with larger mobile homes. We were a group of 4 and were allowed to stand in a small circle. The camping fee was reasonable. The sanitary facilities were spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The electricity supply was variable and too expensive at 70 ct/kw. The operators bill the electricity by meter after the end of the inclusive portion. Insight into the initial and final meter reading is not granted. This creates discomfort. I also didn't like the fact that the not entirely stable WiFi was charged at €10 for 5 days. This is part of the service at other campsites. The bathing lake is beautiful with a beach that may be too small (about 10 meters). The site is occupied by a lot of permanent campers and many "properties" looked abandoned and rather battered. I recommend the operator to clean up the place. Then the site will become a pearl again.

"Camping by the lake - The campsite is very quiet in the forest. The sanitary buildings were new and clean. It is a bit remote, about 10 km from the nearest supermarket. The staff and all the campers were very friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't try the restaurant as it didn't open again until Friday. Ideal for people looking for peace and relaxation.
