The staff was friendly. The place was beautiful.
Negativ
I did four loads of laundry and used the dryer twice, and had to pay 530 kr. I was shocked!!! That was the most expensive it’s ever been. With that money, I could have bought new clothes instead of doing laundry. Shame on you!!!!
Camping Out in the Countryside
Nice place, and you were the most popular campground in the county. But you were the best at charging high prices—40 kr for a liter of milk. 🤨

Convenient location, friendly operators from the Netherlands, not too crowded in the HS, worthwhile culinary evening events, sanitary clean and in good condition, small store at the reception (delicious cinnamon buns).
Negativ
In principle none - given the size of the site, a second sanitary building might be advantageous.
Hiking and biking in Tiveden NP and relaxing at a top CP
I usually stay with my self-sufficient camper van in free spaces or on smaller campsites. Camp Tiveden is a relatively large site, but it was an absolutely positive experience, and not just because of its proximity to the beautiful Tiveden National Park.

In the morning I sent a request via contact form (mail), received no answer. I wonder what the reason might be: too much work, too little space, lack of decency...
Space request from 15.08.2023
An answer within a reasonable period of time must be possible or the operators are still doing too well...

Good starting point for hikes
We had a "luxury cabin" on the site with its own shower/toilet and kitchenette. The hut was really well equipped. There was even a ceramic hob. The huts were not too close together.

Borderline price/performance ratio
Family place
When we arrived, all the official pitches were already occupied, but we were allocated a pitch directly opposite the reception next to the football pitch. The official pitches are more attractive with lots of space, but all without a view of the lake. Lots of tents, the sanitary facilities are super... chic and clean, but it takes some getting used to that you have to take your shoes off in the whole sanitary area, even in the toilets.... and above all: the sanitary facilities are too small. Forest in front of the lake, which is quite dense and dark.

Location, equipment
Beautiful CP at the national park
We received a friendly welcome from the operator and were spoken to in German. This campsite is part of rondjezweden - these are campsites that are run by Dutch people in Sweden and are members of rondjezweden. The facilities on the site are very good. There is a kiosk (reception) with moderate prices... and a modern wash house, which is very well cleaned. The pitches are large enough and the site facilities (from canoe hire and a great playground to campfires and much more) are particularly popular with children. The site is beautifully secluded and any animal visitors at night should not deter you from visiting the site. I think the nearest supermarket (ICA) was 15 km away. In Tived (3 km) there is a small country store - but it offers the most important things. The self-smoked fish from the owners is highly recommended.

Our favorite in 🇸🇪
Very friendly, Dutch operators. Nice little site. Quiet location on a crystal-clear lake. Small jetty, small beach, sauna, barbecue area, boat hire. Well-kept sanitary facilities and small kitchen. Good for children.

First time in Sweden
Our first time in Sweden and then such a great place. 13 days there and you don't know where to start with the report. Top sanitary facilities, top operators...especially the language skills. Very nice location. The lake is a dream

Shopping facilities somewhat limited. Small store (almost everything is available here) approx. 2.5 km, larger supermarket only approx. 20 km away.
Very nice, clean campsite.
Very nice campsite. Cleanest sanitary facilities in Sweden. Beautiful lake. A boat should be used for fishing. Alternatively, there are smaller lakes nearby where it is better to fish from the shore.

- quiet location - clean sanitary facilities - well-kept site
Very tidy place
We stayed here for two nights and were very satisfied. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean, and the owners were always friendly and helpful. The pitches are big enough for trailers, awnings and cars. We deducted one point for the fact that you should only go into the sanitary facilities... barefoot or with separate shoes. This is perfectly fine in the washing area, but we found it unpleasant in the toilet area. Otherwise, we can definitely recommend the site.

Nice camping almost on the lake
Campsite located in a clearing in the forest, access to the lake via footbridge. High proportion of tents, classic family campsite. Nice operator. Shoes have to be taken off in the sanitary facilities - takes some getting used to, but therefore quite clean despite the forest location. Leisure activities are determined by the surroundings, swimming, hiking, canoeing - the right thing for city kids who want to get to know Lindgren Sweden.

One of the best in 40 years of camping
We are thrilled, exactly how we imagine a Swedish campsite to be in terms of location. In addition, the friendly operators of the site and the lovely little store with delicious, changing offers, be it fish or cake, there is always something special on offer. The site is very well maintained and clean,... as are the sanitary facilities, which are unfortunately a little too few. There is also free internet everywhere on the site. The leisure facilities for water sports enthusiasts are good and the location on the lake is fantastic.

Lovingly managed campsite right on the lake
A very nice, quiet campsite with very friendly and helpful management. The entire layout around the campsite is lovely and well maintained, you immediately feel at home here! Nothing is missing, great equipped communal kitchen. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for excursions (Tiveden NP, Göta Canal etc.).
