In sunny southeastern France, in the Rhône-Alpes region, you can enjoy your holiday in a natural setting with many great attractions nearby, such as the medieval town of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. The adjacent municipal swimming pool is free of charge for campsite …guests! Spacious pitches with sun and shade Campers have plenty of options when it comes to choosing their pitch. On a grassy area, you’ll find spacious pitches under large trees offering lots of shade. Sunny pitches are also scattered across the well-maintained site. Tents can be pitched near the campsite entrance. Tipi tents, retro caravans, charming cabins, and new safari lodges are spread throughout the campsite. Double the swimming fun When the sun shines in France, water lovers head straight for the pool. Within a few steps, you’ll reach the large, heated municipal swimming pool – free for campsite guests. Race down the long slide or relax on a sun lounger. From the terrace on the hill, you have a beautiful view of the pool, and you can watch boats glide by on the river in the background. A small gate from the campsite leads directly to the riverbank. Dining at sunset After a great holiday day, everyone gathers on the cozy terrace. In summer, there’s a daily happy hour at the bar in the late afternoon. At the riverbank snack bar, you can grab snacks, burgers, pizzas, salads, and ice cream. Once a week, the menu includes fries and mussels.
