A nice, quiet campground, now rated two stars according to the campground itself. Many seasonal and long-term campers; the tourist sites are quite large. Access via Chemin du Fort Janot. A river with a swimming area is just a few minutes away. Bar serving burgers and Asian cuisine. Restrooms in the larger... facilities have been partially renovated. Restroom stalls are very cramped. The other facilities still have squat toilets.
Very affordable. €22/night in early July for a tent, including 2 people. Stayed for 2 days to visit the city of Lyon.

Favorable location near the river
Large campsite with a beautiful shady meadow for tents. There is a bar on the campsite, which also serves simple meals. There is also a swimming pool for children and adults. However, the River Ain is right next to the campsite, where you can also swim. Even in summer, when there is little water, the... river is deep enough for carefree swimming. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. The toilets are not separate, but you can choose between standing and sitting toilets. As is usual in France, you have to bring your own toilet paper.
