"Large campsite in a beautiful but remote setting - We were at this site shortly after it opened for the season. Only the required number of pitches were available for use. There was also only one sanitary facility. The occupancy varied during our stay. During the week there were only a few campers, at the weekend almost all the pitches were occupied. The site is located on one of the lagoons in the Lagunas de Ribadeira Nature Park in a very scenic setting. The pitches are parceled out and some are small - but there are also large pitches. The pitches are mostly gravelled and very level. Electricity and water supply is available within short distances. The sanitary facilities are well equipped. Hot water is usually available after some waiting time and can be regulated individually. Unfortunately, the water at the sinks is not warm enough. The facilities are cleaned several times a day and were always clean (with the exception of busy weekends). There is a restaurant on the campsite. We didn't try it, but judging by the number of guests from outside the campsite, it's obviously not bad. Bread is available in the restaurant, but only after 10 am. From the campsite you can go on beautiful hikes or cycle tours in the nature reserve - always along the deep blue small lakes. For us, the campsite was the "base camp" for tours into the surrounding area (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Tablas Daimiel, Alcazar... and to Don Quixote's windmills). Overall, we felt comfortable at the campsite - with moderate occupancy. Outdated: There is no internet access - neither at the pitch nor in reception or the restaurant.
