Profil

The peaceful terraced campsite Lo Schioppo stretches at an altitude of almost 700 m in a forest by a river. You are camping here in the Abruzzo region. The village of La Grancia is three kilometres from the campsite. Morion …(ten minutes away by car) offers a little more facilities such as restaurants, shops and a train station. Welcome! A hilly path and a beautiful valley lead you to the attractively situated campsite. You will be welcomed here by the hospitable Tagliola family. On their terraced campsite you will find well-kept, spacious pitches (50). Two holiday flats are also available for rent. Enjoy the peace and the view Campers who love peace and nature like to come here because of the panoramic view of the mountains. In the summer you will mainly meet families with small children, in the low season seniors and hikers like to visit this campsite. In just under five minutes on foot, you can reach the small river via the path next to the campsite. You can follow various signposted hiking trails through the nearby nature reserve. These vary in terms of difficulty. In high season, guided hikes take place, so you can visit the small villages in the area with the owner. Breakfast on the terrace At the cosy reception you can order a cup of coffee or tea, cold drinks and breakfast. Only a few products are available, including fresh bread. The owners will be happy to give you tips on what to visit and do in the area. The village of Grancia is 3 km away, where you will find a place to eat and a small supermarket.
