Good location as a stopover; a great spot for a municipal campground
Negativ
Nothing—everything's fine for a municipal campground
good city campground
We stayed there for one night in late June while passing through, with a medium-sized trailer and our dog. Check-in at the terminal was a bit tricky, but it worked out. The campground was pretty busy at the time, but luckily we had made a reservation in advance through the website (highly recommended,... depending on the time of year). It’s a fairly basic campground, kept in pretty good condition. Some sites are shaded, and most are sufficiently large. The electrical hookup is sometimes quite far away. Water hookups are nearby. Standard restroom facilities—fine for one night. There’s a country road nearby, and depending on the site, you might hear some traffic noise. It’s somewhat suitable for walking and taking the dog for a walk. But in just under 10 minutes you can reach the canal, where you can walk the dog reasonably well. Shopping options and a barbecue restaurant nearby. Conclusion: An affordable, decent campground, close to Cambrai and the highway; the surrounding area is somewhat “dog-friendly”; good location and absolutely fine for an overnight stopover while passing through and/or to explore Cambrai.

Easy to reach, beautiful grounds, spacious meadow pitch with hedge boundary, electricity/water connection directly accessible. Easy access with credit card and code Good waste disposal station 12,50€/night is a great price
Negativ
Sometimes a bit noisy due to the proximity to the highway. Shower-toilet facilities are in desperate need of renovation. Would be happy to pay higher fees for this!
Ideal place for a relaxing stopover
Well located site with well-kept outdoor facilities. Easy to reach from the highway and therefore ideal for an overnight stay.
Easy access by credit card and then by code. And for only €12.50/night
However, the shower/toilet facilities leave a lot to be desired. There is an URGENT NEED FOR RENOVATION here!
All fellow campers were happy to pay higher fees

a very quiet place, in the middle of nature, with lots of horses, close to the center of Münster
Negativ
For us there was nothing to complain about
Recommendation
A very nice quiet place, lots of ponies and horses, if you like you can ride or go for a walk with the ponies.
Perfect price-performance ratio, nice welcome. Unfortunately we were only passing through, but if we wanted to go to Münster again, we would stay there.

Good for an overnight stay
We had made a reservation and were given a friendly welcome. There were still a few places available, but it was still low season. The site made a tidy and well-kept impression. We were able to choose a free pitch. In the rear area, where we stood with our caravan, the entrances to the pitches are very... narrow, so even with our small caravan we had to move directly from the driveway. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years.

There is a bakery with a large selection about 5 minutes' walk away and a restaurant (Buffalo Grill) opposite, which we didn't try out.

The site is certainly well located for a stopover. I can't say what else Cambrai has to offer for a longer stay.

Positive
Location, plot size, friendliness, opening hours
Negativ
Very narrow plot entrances in the rear area, but that's complaining on a high level
Great place for an overnight stay
We were greeted in a friendly manner despite arriving late, were able to choose a pitch ourselves, very cheap, no extra charge for the dog, pitches sufficiently large, only very narrow access roads, limited on one side by the electricity/water supply pillars. You can hear the country road, but you have... to die if you want a transit site close to the route.
The site should be seen as a transit site, or for visitors to the town or the nearby WW1 battlefields, but not as a recreational site or for a vacation. It can be recommended for this without compromise.
We will continue to use it for this purpose.

Simple, beautiful, inexpensive space
Nice little place. We were able to arrive spontaneously and were welcomed in a very friendly and uncomplicated manner. If you are looking for a simple overnight stay, this is the place for you. It is close to the highway, you really don't hear anything from it !!!!!

Sanitary facilities in need of renovation
Intermediate stop
The site is well located near the highway. The pitches are large and all have electricity and water connections. The staff is friendly and the registration is uncomplicated. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation. You can order baguettes etc. for breakfast from the site manager against prepayment.... The town center is within easy walking distance and very nice. Dogs can go to the nearby canal (also in the direction of the town center). A nice place for a stopover, which you can easily extend to a day of sightseeing.

Sanitary facilities
Good for an overnight stay
Sufficient, good size pitches, water and electricity in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary facilities are far too few. 1 toilet and shower per gender seems too few for 50 pitches. Cleanliness not particularly good, but of course this is also down to the users. Water for washing up only lukewarm. Good connection... to the highway, good price-performance ratio. Noise level okay, but neighboring street is quite quiet at night. Conclusion: Nothing for a longer stay, but fine for passing through. We personally didn't particularly like the town of Cambrai.

Positive
Convenient location
Negativ
Simple equipment
Cheap overnight accommodation
A simple and clean site with sufficiently large flat pitches near the center of Cambrai. The sanitary facilities are separated by gender, the number of toilets and showers are rather few and clean. Facilities for the disabled are available. The necessary disposal facilities are available and easily accessible.... Overall, the site is an overnight pitch and is only suitable for a longer stay to a limited extent, especially as it is conveniently located close to the highway. However, the site is in the immediate vicinity of an arterial road, so it is noisy during the day due to the traffic and only becomes much quieter once the traffic has died down. Even then, however, occasional disturbances are to be expected. The low price makes up for this (€14.50 per night including electricity for two people). There are no facilities on the site itself; however, there are several stores within walking distance and a restaurant in the "Buffalo Grill" chain opposite the site (not my taste, but everyone has to decide for themselves).

Very well-kept municipal campsite with modern sanitary facilities. Directly opposite a restaurant (Buffallo Grill), approx. 5 minutes on foot to the town center. Bakery also about 5 minutes on foot. Level pitches and a very friendly "boss". You can just turn up and choose a pitch. In the evening you... register with the boss. The price/performance ratio is excellent. However, there is an expressway (highway feeder road) behind the site which is very noisy during the day. At night, unfortunately, motorcyclists sometimes speed over it. Therefore, although everything else is actually right and the price is unbeatable, the site is more of a place for an overnight stopover. However, if we were in the area again, we would stop here again at any time.
