Quiet restful location, easy walk to the small but well stocked shop. Good stopover spot. Swimming pool was excellent. Little shop on site was adequate for an easy meal. Owners were very pleasant and

Toilet block was always clean, however, cleaning a little later in the morning would be more convenient. Hand soap should be available in the toilet.

Thank goodness it was just to get a few hours of sleep and not for a stay of several nights

I've stayed at Le Deffay before based to the great stay I previously enjoyed. This year was no exception, excellent facilities and beautifully quiet given that I visited in the second half of August. The management and staff run an excellent site. I look forward to my next visit

A pleasant spot at a quiet, family-friendly campground with a pool.

There isn't a bread delivery here

Warm and friendly welcome, personally shown to our pitch. Great shop with a nice washroom and toilet block. Nice swimming pool and restaurant too.

More sun loungers for pool. We had to bring our own but other than that it was great.

We discovered this lovely campground this year—what a pleasant surprise. A very large, quiet site with a pond where you can admire the wildlife. Outdoor pool with a bar and restaurant. Warm welcome, and a grocery store and library are available. There are play areas for children. There are plenty of restrooms and showers, so you don’t have to wait in line. One minor downside: the showers are way too hot, and with the temperatures we had, it was hard to cool off—but other than that, I highly recommend it for nature lovers. We’ll be happy to come back!

The pitch size and position was great, the pool lovely, the restaurant…. Nice, a little expensive and doesn’t cater for kids.

Complete refurbishment of the toilet block is needed and more attention to the cleaning. I felt the site needed a shake up. They advertise pedlo’s but the ones there are very broken, the place generally looked unloved.

A quiet campground in the countryside, with a beautiful wooded setting and a pond. The campground is large. The mobile home was very spacious and clean. The managers were very friendly. The pool is a real highlight, as are the play areas for kids (bouncy castle and trampoline).

Perhaps set operating hours for the inflatable structures (or deflate them at night) to prevent children from shouting in the play areas late at night

Huge pitches and plenty with tree cover. Lovely pool and a nice restaurant and bar adjacent

Toilets lacked soap and whilst we were able to get bread from the chef there was no mention at the reception. Bread and croissants in the morning would have been nice as the nearest Boulangerie was a distance away.

Close to the castle where our son's wedding reception was held.

The manager’s hospitality and flexibility could use some improvement. He is inflexible about the times for handing over the keys to the mobile homes and the access codes for setting up tents, even though there was no one there before us. He takes advantage of the weddings held at the castle to charge exorbitant rates.

Lovely quiet site with good facilities. Fantastic restaurant and bar. We had two very nice lunches and would return again if only for that. Great walled dog run was appreciated by the dogs.

Some updating of toilets and showers would help but not an issue. A lack of a bread delivery was a shame but it was in low season.

Nice setting

No flexibility, impossible to reach them by phone, lack of common sense, too expensive. Doesn't live up to a 3-star rating.
