Positive
- Very good value for money even in midsummer - Camping "like in the old days": the neighbors are always there to help if you need them or have time for small talk, you greet each other (somehow no longer common everywhere) - Small but nice beach right on the lake - wonderfully friendly campsite operators - great location for bike tours, not as busy as other parts of the lake
Negativ
- the water pressure and the amount of water in the showers is so low that I barely got our children wet or soaped up - No soap at the wash houses for washing hands - the train line right next to the campsite is quite busy, starting at 6 am (but you get used to it ;))
Real camping
- Bread roll service in the morning
- short walk to the village with kiosk and good bakery
- the pitch itself is tubular, but the pitches by the lake are fully booked months in advance in high season
- Reservations are essential in high season
- great bike tours possible, there are cycle paths almost everywhere, which are also suitable for children

A great place with even better operators.
The site is an idyll for rest and relaxation.
The sanitary facilities were clean at all times.
It would be nice if there was something for children on site. Table tennis or something similar.
The star deduction I give for the poor water supply and the really much too hot showers. You can't regulate them either. There is a real risk of scalding.

Quaint little campsite by the lake
It felt like camping 50 years ago again. A small, clearly laid out site with lawns, divided but not subdivided or pitches separated by hedges and bushes. It's a bit out of the hustle and bustle, but quiet and relaxing. You can still talk to your neighbor here.
Direct access to the lake 'Lac d'Aiguebelette'... with a small beach. Ideal for children of all ages.
Starting point for walks in the surrounding area. Signposted and well marked. The village is about 1.5 km from the campsite and is very small. There are individual shopping facilities, but no supermarkets. There are vending machines with cold drinks at the campsite.
It was definitely very pleasant.
