We got there because the campsite in Ferté St. Aubin was closed. It was a good alternative.

Nature and tranquillity near the Loire
Beautiful location near the Loire, quiet site with old but clean sanitary facilities. Very pretty villages and small towns nearby. Also suitable for overnight stays due to its proximity to the highway.

We spent one night at this campsite. In the middle of the site is a beautiful lake with a wooded island. There are lots of trees on the site itself. The forest and a small village start right next to it. Right at the entrance on the right is a rabbit hutch with rabbits that you can feed, and on the left... is a large trampoline surrounded by nets with balls and climbing ropes, where our children had a great time letting off steam. The owner couple are very friendly. The restaurant at the edge of the campsite is very simple and housed in a tent. There are no culinary delights here, but you'll get your fill. Otherwise, the campsite was very quiet at the end of August.
