Beautiful place, lots of greenery, peace and relaxation
I was passing through on my bike from Leer to Lauwersoog (to cycle from there to the Schiermonnikoog campsite) and spent the night at Camping Ekenstein. Beautiful location, lots of greenery, I had plenty of space around me, I felt completely at ease.

Quiet location. Close to Groningen and Borkum. Very friendly staff.

Every now and then you can hear a road in the distance, otherwise very quiet.
A wonderful place to relax.
A beautiful place in the middle of nature. Not far from Groningen and Borkum. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean, the snack bar is beautifully situated on a small canal. Canoe rental, mini golf. And the staff are super friendly. We will be back!
