"20 weeks Mobilehome - We (two adults) stayed at this campsite in June. Our requirement was to be right by the sea and in a town that offers shopping and dining options. This campsite is ideal for exactly that. The reception was polite and even spoke German, but English and French are no problem either. The site consists almost exclusively of mobile homes and only the rows directly on the beach are free for tents/caravans/motorhomes. Our mobile home was a bit older but it worked perfectly and was also air-conditioned. The site itself made a clean impression and I can't say anything about the sanitary facilities as we didn't use them. There is a small snack bar right on the pitch. We didn't eat anything there, just had a drink. The town of Marseillan-Plage is purely a tourist resort. When you walk out of the gate you are right in the middle of it, there are several bakeries, a spa market and a small supermarket within walking distance. Many restaurants and pubs are also within walking distance. Access to the stand is via a gate which is secured with a code. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to wash your feet after visiting the beach. As a result, an outdoor shower at the sanitary building was used for this purpose and after 1 week the drain was completely blocked. At the time of our visit there wasn't a lot of hustle and bustle on the site, but that can of course change in July/August. What we also used was the quite central location to make trips to the Provonce (Avignion/Arles etc.) and to Carcassone.
