Very nice campsite
We were 8 days on this beautiful campsite with our motorhome, we liked it well after we had moved, the staff is German speaking, friendly and very helpful, the beach is close, and the view of the mountains is beautiful, we were there for the 2nd time, and I think we will come back, but then in the off-season.

Very nice and clean place
We stayed at this campsite for 5 days at the beginning of June. It wasn't very busy, which was great for us because of Covid19. The pitch and the sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very good. Pizza was gluten and lactose free, another plus point. WLan was included in the price.

Beautiful (small) pitches directly on the lake, unfortunately separated by a fence, clean and modern sanitary facilities, restaurant on site with good food
Negativ
Beach not clean, broken glass, pool opening hours, no footpath along the lake to Porlezza
Nice place with very friendly staff but some compromises
Compared to the neighboring pitches with the many chalets, much brighter and more pleasant. Beautiful greenery, and some plots by the lake (separated by a fence) Very friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities (be careful, bring your own toilet paper ;)) Unfortunately, the beach is not clean (broken glass,... dirt and some dog excrement). This is actually a great pity and must be changed. Pool opening hours from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm not optimal. The food in the camping restaurant was varied and good and the serving staff were also very friendly. ATTENTION: Some pitches directly on the main road are very noisy.

Very quiet place at the beginning of Sept, very clean and partly new sanitary facilities. Very nice little beach, could get a bit crowded in high season, great view of the mountains from the beach, water. Friendly staff, good little store. It's great that you can stay on normal pitches until 6pm. Nice little town.
Negativ
According to the homepage there should be a shuttle service to the village, but there is not, relatively many dogs on the beach and in the water, pizzeria not Italian standard but ok, playground very poor and bouncy castle too. Entrance to the swimming pool far too expensive for camping guests as a family. Normally free in Sept, but not because of Corona. You can understand a small fee, but not 5 euros if you want to go in briefly in the evening. Better the lake then
Great place in a fantastic location
Everything has already been said about the advantages/disadvantages. Overall a very nice place. We will certainly be back there again.

Beautiful location, friendly, quiet, lake for swimming.

As a dog owner, you first have to go out to the entrance, then along the road to the dog meadow.
Beautiful vacation spot
The location is quiet, especially at night. The traffic is slightly audible in the places facing the street, but not disturbing. Very friendly reception, nice service in the store too. Store with a large assortment. Supermarket in Porlezza. For Italy rather large, level pitches with grass and earth,... semi-shaded by medium-sized trees. Sanitary facilities in very good condition and always clean. With toilet paper and soap. Showers and washing up with hot water. Narrow pebble/stone beach, approx. 20 m flat then steeply sloping. Beautiful view of the lake. In the morning the sun wasn't over the hill until 9am (mid-September). Wifi is chargeable (1 euro per day), reception very good.

Dog-friendly, great dog area and catering here
Simply great
We spent a few wonderful days at this campsite. The operators are very helpful and friendly. Everything works wonderfully here with a wheelchair and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Unfortunately, we only chose a pitch that was very earthy and always very wet and therefore dirty in the early morning,... and unfortunately it is not possible to keep the caravan halfway clean with a wheelchair. This is because many people lay out the mats in front of the caravan and so unfortunately no grass can grow. Otherwise everything here is tip top, I can only recommend it.

Location directly on the lake, good restaurant, cleanliness, friendliness, evening program and children's program.

No tent pitch with communal dining area. This means less communication with other vacationers.
Beautiful, friendly campsite with a great restaurant and evening program
You can get to this campsite without a reservation. Everything is clean, modern and friendly. The campsite is well organized. All pitches have electricity, usually 3 amps (so only a fridge and sometimes a hairdryer). It is a paradise for children because there is a very nice entertainment program. Also... great for older children because the evening program with musicals etc. is creatively designed and worth seeing. Great, reasonably priced restaurant with high-quality food. Good ice cream. Well-equipped store. There is no camping area. This makes it difficult for single travelers or single parents with tents to make contact. There are several 100 meters of beach directly in front of the campsite.

Location, location, location. Pleasantly shady.

It can get a bit crowded in high season. The beach and pitches are rather small. Evening entertainment can also make it a bit rowdy.
Great location, but rumbly
The campsite is located directly on Lake Lugano with a great view. Simply great. Well-stocked store and restaurant with a large menu. Quality of food sometimes variable. Without a bike or vehicle you are a bit cut off: no direct bus connection, 2km to the village. Beach tends to be overcrowded in high season.

Great location
Very beautifully situated campsite right on the lake, you tend to forget the winding road there. Sanitary building always clean, a new building was opened on our day of departure. Also pleasant with a dog. The village can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.

Very nice place in a beautiful location
The location, ladies and gentlemen, the location... is really great. The campsite faces west across the lake and in the evening you can look directly into the setting sun. 1A with an asterisk! Otherwise, the site is quite large with several hundred pitches, which are also very spacious, except for the... first row directly on the lake. The first row is more expensive and only there are 6 amps. However, it is off-limits for ACSI Card holders. The site has a large number of trees, which is why most of the pitches are fully shaded. There are 4 large, older wash houses and a new one right behind the reception. All are cleaned several times a day and were always clean during our stay. The water jet in the (older) showers was just about acceptable for longer hair, but the water could be warmer. It was also only lukewarm at the dishwashing sinks. There is a small supermarket on the site with a good range of goods and fresh baked goods every day. There is also a pizzeria with a bar and entertainment stage, as well as a large pool, all of which were already closed at the end of September. Like one of the previous commentators, I have to criticize the dog owners, unfortunately. We were traveling with a dog ourselves, but on a leash. Many apparently think: free dogs for free citizens! and exaggerate their love for our beloved four-legged friends when it comes to free running and dog bathing. Simply annoying. Outside the campsite, right next door, there is a large dog meadow with bags and bins where dogs can run around and get loose. Well, that's not the campsite operators' fault. But at some point, dog owners shouldn't be surprised if they are ostracized in the same way as smokers. And otherwise: there is a bus stop right at the entrance to the campsite. If you leave the campsite to the left, the village is 1.5 km away. There is also a large and inexpensive supermarket before the traffic lights. The village of Porlezza itself doesn't have much to offer. Actually even less, rather nothing at all. The pizzeria Il Pinguino, just a few hundred meters away, is recommended. Coming on foot from the campsite, turn left at the yellow sign for La Sbianca and then after 50 meters turn right across the parking lot. This saves you about 300 meters.

Proximity to the lake, friendliness of the operators
Negativ
Old sanitary facilities, cleaning of sanitary facilities not sufficient in high season. No separate dog area on the beach.
Beautiful campsite in fantastic surroundings
All in all, we (a family of 3) had a very nice 5 days at the campsite. However, we also have a few things to complain about. The old sanitary buildings urgently need to be renovated and modernized. There were also repeated difficulties with the water supply to the buildings. In our opinion, the sanitary... facilities were not cleaned sufficiently during the high season. Sometimes the toilets wouldn't flush or there was no hot water for washing dishes. Another thing that is rarely found on campsites nowadays is that you have to bring your own toilet paper. We think this should be improved in the next few years. The fact that dogs don't have a separate area on the beach also bothered us a little and should be covered. In terms of location and the friendliness of the operators, the campsite is absolutely top.

Beautiful location, clean sanitary facilities and great surroundings.

No regulations for dog owners
A great place, but ....
The place would actually have everything for a vacation paradise, fantastically beautiful location, directly on Lake Lugano, very friendly staff, good supply with a well-stocked grocery store, restaurant, not too far from the beautiful town of Porlezza, which can be easily reached on foot and from there... good bus connections to Lugano and Menaggio. The pitches are of sufficient size and partly shady. The sanitary facilities are of different quality, from simple to a new, luxurious sanitary block, but all were always very clean, so everything for a nice vacation, but now comes, at least for us, the catch: The place is also allowed for dogs, which is normally not bad, but during our time the concentration of dogs on the place was so great, despite still low season, that it was perceived as a nuisance. On the campsite itself it's fine, but on the beach it's an imposition, no matter where you were on the very beautiful beach, there were dogs in the water next to you, if the dogs themselves didn't want to go into the water, sticks were thrown into the water or the dogs were even carried into the water. The beach is in some places only towel wide, but this does not bother any dog owner, he lets his dog run over other towels, once a dog made his, big, business directly at our place, right next to the towel, which caused us not to visit the beach anymore and we then left after 10 days, although we wanted to stay 2 weeks. It was a pity that, despite the beautiful campsite, the unregulated presence of the many dogs spoiled our stay, and through conversations with other campers I learned that the situation was not pleasant for other campers either. I am not in favor of a dog ban, but the operator should introduce a certain order or rules for the stay with dogs, then this place is really a little paradise.
