Unfortunately, the place doesn't have much in common with its old reviews anymore.
It’s unkempt, quite run-down, the restrooms are broken—some are unusable—and always dirty; there aren’t enough washing and shower facilities. At the on-site fry shop, you can grab a light snack or order a simple breakfast;... there’s no kiosk, but there are shopping options in town—accessible only by car.
The above-ground pool is just barely passable; the filter system is out of order, so it’s only just usable for cooling off.
The lake is a stagnant body of water—smelly and brackish; we called it “Pee-Poop Lake.”
Prices for a car, a trailer, 2 people, electricity, and the tourist tax: €36 per night... absolutely outrageous and overpriced.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. As we do not know when exactly you visited us, we would like to clarify a few points.

The swimming pool is regularly filtered and maintained and is open during July and August. After very busy days,... the water can temporarily be affected by sunscreen and cosmetics, which may require longer filtration.

The condition of the lake is strongly influenced by the weather, especially during periods of extreme heat. We are also planning to revitalise, deepen and dredge the lake.

The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and disinfected twice a day. Their condition at a particular moment can also depend on how intensively they are being used.

Large trees provide good shade, large supermarkets 10 minutes by car. Small emergency supplies (toothbrush, tampon) available on site

Power connection is not a CEE but can be used thanks to the earthing contact socket (earthing lug Eastern Europe). WLAN log in every 30 minutes.
Completely surprised
We were a little skeptical about a campsite in the middle of Slovakia, but we were completely relieved. A great site with very friendly operators. The daughter speaks German and gave us a good welcome and briefing, which helped us a lot. There is a large and a small pool. Ideal for families with small... children. The lake is less than 30m away. There is a very good breakfast menu and a delicious snack bar by the lake. Our 10-year-old daughter really enjoyed the large-scale Mensch Ärger dich nicht game. Not only our older daughter enjoyed the WLAN. It was so fast that you could even watch online TV without any problems. Although you don't speak the language of the country, all the staff always made you feel welcome. In short --> amazing, we will certainly be going back.

Cheap & quiet place ideal for passing through.

Apart from the small lake, there is really nothing in the immediate vicinity.
Good place to pass through
Large, fairly simple campsite on a flat meadow without pitches about 100 meters from a small bathing lake. Quiet location. Very nice welcome at the reception. Ideal for passing through in the direction of Hungary etc. In June there was a small snack bar at the entrance to the site, nothing else nearby. Sanitary facilities quite good for Slovakia. Great value for money. WOMO with 3 persons 11 €.

Really wonderful!
This campsite is simply wonderful! Especially the people are very nice and friendly and do everything to make you happy. Price is very nice, the location too. We were very satisfied.

If you are looking for peace and quiet...
... is the right place to relax. We were there at the end of August, the place was almost empty, so ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet. More than enough space for the dog to run around. But beware, no shopping facilities and only a few snack bars in the immediate vicinity for meals.
