"Fantastic... - Really beautiful campsite in the middle of the mountains. Immaculately maintained sanitary facilities and a place that leaves nothing to be desired! You are warmly welcomed and immediately feel welcome. Our daughter had fun in the small lake. For hikers/mountain bikers, Jochalm (direct start at the campsite) is highly recommended. We will definitely be back - whether with the caravan or for a few days in the very lovely log cabins! Thank you for the very nice and relaxing stay!

"Mushroom paradise - We liked it very much. We would love to come back. Small swimming pond. Super. Sanitary facilities clean. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Large pitches in the green meadow.

"Refreshingly different! - When I first discovered this place in 2013, I didn't know that I would become a regular. Andries and his crew know how to make you feel like old friends. I've been a regular here for a few years now. Everything is very straightforward, lots of understanding for everything. He always has a solution to your problem. It's (almost) impossible here. I'm already looking forward to the next motorcycle weekend in September.

"every year again! - Very good starting point for our annual motorcycle tours to the wonderful Friuli region or other destinations in the surrounding area. After the tour, relax in the natural pool and enjoy a good meal in the restaurant.

Profil

Alpenferienpark Reisach in Carinthia is located on the sheltered southern slope of the Reisskofel mountain at 850 meters above sea level. Thanks to its position 200 meters above the valley, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Carnic Alps …(which form the border with Italy) and the lower Gail Valley. Our terraced campsite lies peacefully in the forest above the village of Reisach (650 m). Right next to the campsite, there is even a stream with a small waterfall! You can start hiking or mountain biking directly from the campsite, for example to the Reisacher Jochalm (1554 m). But it's also well worth exploring the full potential of the region by car, motorbike, or camper van. We offer both sunny and shaded pitches. Due to its south-facing location, the campsite enjoys plenty of sunshine throughout the year. With only 60 pitches, 16 wooden cabins, and 2 mobile homes, a peaceful atmosphere is maintained even during the summer months. All essential amenities are available. Water and electricity are accessible for all campers. For younger children, there's a play meadow where a hollow tree invites them to play with flowing water. The highlight of the campsite is our natural swimming pool, called the Biotop. Fresh mountain water flows directly into the pool and is kept clean by a sand and plant filtration system. The swimming area is large enough (26 meters) for a proper swim and perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. There is also a shallow children's section (up to 0.5 m deep) with a gravel beach. Depending on the weather, the water temperature in high season ranges between 19 and 24 degrees Celsius.
