I'd love to do it again
We stayed at this campground years ago and went on some wonderful bike rides. One time we rode up to the Engstlichen Alp, and another time we rode from Meiringen to Grindelwald and then took the train from Interlaken back to Meiringen. They were challenging rides, but very beautiful. We arrived yesterday, and everything was still GREAT. We’ll definitely be back.

Campsite run with passion by the operator
We, an elderly couple, were looked after warmly and with humor by Simon the campsite owner throughout our stay. The sanitary facilities were always spotlessly clean (even when fully occupied). The food in the bistro was very good, from tarte flambée to Haslipfännli. We would love to come back.

Familiar, very nice and clean campsite
Familiar, very nice and clean campsite. Meiringen can be reached on foot and Brienz or Interlaken by bike or with a short train ride. Nothing is missing here and the campsite is run by a courteous, humorous manager. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

-For those who don't like it, the FA 18 flights in the morning can be annoying. But you're on the road all day anyway.
Great location, brilliant groundskeeper
A rather small, quiet family campsite.
The site is characterized by its good location in the Bernese Oberland. From here you can easily reach the Hasliberg mountain railroads, the Aare Gorge and much more. The pitches are level with grass. The sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a path out the... back directly from the pitch, which is ideal for dogs. The groundsman always ensures a good atmosphere and has a solution for everything. There is a playground, go-karts and a small swimming pool for children. We liked it very much and will definitely be back.

Alpine camping, an insider tip
Very lovingly furnished small campsite in a practical location. Beautiful grass pitches. Surrounded by meadows with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Quiet, apart from the few military planes in the morning and evening. But you soon get used to them and the view makes up for it, as every... site in the Bernese Oberland is affected. It definitely didn't bother us, but we'll mention it here anyway for the sake of objectivity. The owner couple are very nice and helpful.

Fantastic Site.
Visited the site from 6th June 2017 for 16 days. The second time we have been to the site. Thank you Monica and Simon for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. A wonderful site to relax and take in the scenery. A good place to tour around from. Good for Sherlock Holmes fans.

Clean and well-kept campsite
We (couple) were there this year in the off-season and can only report positive things. Nice permanent pitch for our motorhome, very clean and modern sanitary facilities, nice ladies at reception who gave us good information about leisure activities in Meiringen and the surrounding area. The nearest restaurants were in Meiringen. The site is a little out of the way.

Beautifully situated, modern place
We were here this summer on vacation. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern, the only thing you might miss are washing cubicles. There is a wonderful view from the site and it is in a quiet location. Unfortunately, a fighter jet flies over the whole region a few times a week, but otherwise... it is quiet and hardly bothersome. All the groundsmen are very friendly! The nearby town of Meiringen is also beautiful and is ideal for a stroll through the town. The Frutal Meringues are particularly recommended!

A little gem in the Haslital
Very well-kept and clean place. Good starting point for train and post bus and varied hikes. About 10 minutes by bike to the train station/post bus. Very good shopping facilities and sightseeing in Meiningen. Very friendly and courteous reception and staff. The camp's own restaurant offers delicious... snacks and drinks as well as a bread roll service. On certain days, e.g. August 1st, the chef personally cooks a creative menu. The pitch offers a little less shade in summer.

Haslital
Very nicely located site with top clean sanitary facilities. The reception was very friendly and we were able to choose a pitch of our choice despite the ACSI Card. The ACSI price only includes tourist tax and a CHF 1.50 waste disposal fee, which we found absolutely fine. We found it very generous that,... despite our relatively short stay of just 6 days, we were given a free Haslibergbahn ticket for two people. Fresh and good bread rolls are available on pre-order every morning from eight o'clock. We were very satisfied at Alpencamping Meiringen and can only recommend the site - with the exception of a few Swiss campers.

A place to feel good
Nice owner and very helpful. Unfortunately, this is not copied by the tourist office;-) The best way to find out about the various excursion options and where to book them is on the Internet or directly from the owner. The place is well maintained and in a quiet location. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying yourself.
