But since we had already booked in mid-2024 ( fenced dog places are rare ), the price increase to 2025 shocked us a lot. For 13 nights ( for 2 adults, 3 dogs, 1 caravan on the largest dog site ) we had to pay almost €200 more. We have been camping regularly at KNAUS Campingpark Wingst since 2022 and always come as a big family. There were also plenty of dog stations throughout the site and the dog bathing lake was a dream for our boys. They could run dry a little further on in a small dog forest with sports equipment. And all... of this right on the site. The hiking trails through the forest are also very beautiful. There are little things here and there that still need to be done. We bought flypaper at reception which was only 16 years old. That speaks volumes about the care and commitment of the operators! There is obviously a lack of needs-oriented management here!

The sanitary facilities are very clean and up to date. You can cook there and wash your dishes (you have to bring your own sponge, washing-up liquid and towel). A small fridge would be... great. That's the only thing we were missing.
