It’s a very nice little campground. The staff was always friendly, but unfortunately not always professionally competent or flexible in every situation.
We were parked in Section E by the road and got “flooded” after a heavy rainstorm.... Despite several drainage options (4 storm drains), water pooled in the awning. Since we were only at the beginning of our vacation (4 days in and still had 12 days left there), I wanted to move to a different spot. I asked at the front desk if this would be possible.
At first, I was referred to the father (the manager was at the hardware store). After about 90 minutes, the son called back and offered me an alternative spot (D 67). This was the farthest from the restroom building (showers, sinks). I politely declined and asked if there were any other options. I asked if I could swap spots with a motorhome traveler, since motorhomes are taller. Unfortunately, this was also denied.

The restroom facilities are second to none—it’s like a wellness oasis. And it feels like it’s being cleaned around the clock. The campsites are very nice, some with wooden decks. On top of that, there’s the fantastic location right on the Baltic Sea and not far from Warnemünde, Rostock, Heiligendamm, and Kühlungsborn. The Baltic seaside resorts of Warnemünde can be reached in less than an hour, or in the other direction via Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn.
The equipment of the CP leaves nothing to be desired. There is plenty of campsite staff to keep everything tidy and clean. The wash house is huge and very modern. It was always clean! It's a two-minute walk to the beach, so it's in a great location. You can cycle, walk and hike very well in the surrounding... area. Warnemünde and Kühlungsborn are very close by. Despite the fact that the site is quite large, it was always quiet in the evenings and at night. Each pitch is parceled out and equipped with electricity and water! Extra toilets and extra washbasins in the sanitary building, some of which are cubicles. Extra slippers required for showering. Street shoes go on the shelf....
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Mowing work was only carried out in the morning.
The garbage yard is very clear, clean and tidy. Next to the reception building there is a large children's playground, behind it a Greek restaurant and at the back a store with a very good range and long opening hours, fresh baked goods, coffee, drinks, grilled meat, butter... and everything else the camper needs.
