It’s a quiet, beautiful resort.
We were able to go for lots of walks and relax on the sandy beach (the kids even went in the water).
There were plenty of playgrounds for the kids.
The water slides were our favorite. Even us grown-ups went on them again.
The entertainment team is very nice and made... sure we all had a great time.
Our room had a view of the water, which was especially great in the mornings and evenings for watching the sunrise and sunset.

A really nice vacation
A very nice, large campground with plenty of playgrounds for children of all ages. The best part is its location by the beach, and it’s perfect for visiting with a dog because of the beautiful dog-friendly beach.

Very varied and beautifully designed for children. Toilet paper and soap were always available.

Cleanliness of the restroom facilities: Each cleaning session took no more than 2 minutes per room (restroom, shower room, family shower, etc.). The light was constantly out—either on the right side in the men’s area or on the left side in the women’s area. Often, there was only cold water for showering instead of hot, despite having a chip key. When booking through the app (Camp.info), you’re supposed to get a bonus (one free wash and dry), but this turned out to be unnecessary since the only washing machine on the entire campground and the dryer were free anyway—if you could actually get a chance to do your laundry. Extremely overrun with ants. Insect repellent is a must—though that’s naturally due to the nearby body of water.
20 nights, 6 people, trailer + tent and car
Overall, our group of six definitely has mixed feelings about this place. But we all agree that we won’t be coming back.
The value for money wasn’t right for us, even with the swimming pool included.
My mother (76) isn’t very mobile anymore, yet we still had to pay the same price, even though she was... essentially “stuck” at the campsite because of her illness. (Maybe it’s her own fault, but older people just want to get away from their daily routine sometimes.)

The activities mainly take place in front of the rental cabins, and only once or twice in 20 days was anything organized over by the campers’ area—but unfortunately, even on those two occasions, the children were left to their own devices while the activity staff were on their cell phones or just hanging out among themselves.

According to another camper, it’s apparently even the case that the lake isn’t suitable for swimming—this is supposedly written in Dutch on one of the signs. We didn’t check to see if it’s true ourselves, since we only found out about it on our last evening.

The star rating doesn’t reflect our satisfaction level, but rather whether it fits the scale—unfortunately, we can’t give a 0, because then this section simply won’t appear! Our rating is, of course, based on our own impressions and isn’t a general recommendation. Despite the previous reviews from recent years, we decided to stay at this campground and formed our own opinion based on our experience.

A Paradise for Children
Our overall impression of our week-long stay was very good. We were very satisfied. The kids were kept busy the whole time and had a lot of fun—whether it was walking on the beach, playing soccer in the evenings, or swimming all day. I really enjoyed the time as well, and we’re already planning to go back there next year.

It was our first time there, and we enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely be coming back.
The pool area was clean, spacious, and a lot of fun.
The campground was very beautiful and well-maintained; all the guests were friendly, and we felt right at home.
The RV was very well-maintained and beautifully... furnished and equipped.
We had everything we needed.

The kids had a lot of fun swimming and even more fun with the entertainment programs that were offered.
The entertainment team was incredibly kind to the children and went out of their way to make them happy.

A big plus was the variety of playgrounds—there was something for every age group.

We loved everything. The entertainment was great (our kids had a few language barriers, but even that worked out well), and the accommodations and facilities were top-notch, too.

A really wonderful vacation—you get to experience so much, and the family can just relax and enjoy themselves.
Highly recommended—the staff is very friendly. There are a few minor issues, but that’s just nitpicking. We’re extremely satisfied; our kids had a wonderful vacation and made memories they’ll never forget.

Everything was great! We’d like to praise the entire team—from the front desk to the entertainment staff, from the technicians to the sales staff and security—everyone was truly helpful, warm, and courteous! The accommodations were new and clean, the activities were varied and suitable for all ages, the park and beach were very clean, and the location on Erkemeder Beach was great—we’ll definitely be back!

The kids were busy all day. You can easily leave them on their own for a while. There were also plenty of activities, great playgrounds, and they make friends very quickly. The accommodations were top-notch

We had a bit of trouble finding our accommodations at first; a few signs would have been helpful, but other than that, we have no complaints.
A Wonderful Vacation for the Whole Family
The campground is really beautiful and has been designed with a lot of care. The water park offers plenty of play options for the kids, and since it’s not too deep, you can let them splash around on their own. The sandy beach is very nice—it’s a great place to jog and go for walks. A trip to Amsterdam... isn’t too far either—the location is actually ideal. The accommodations had everything we needed, and the staff was very helpful. The kids were constantly busy, so we had some time to ourselves, which was nice for a change.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations. The swimming pools and playgrounds for children are excellent. The accommodations are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A quiet and pleasant atmosphere—ideal for families. The value for money is excellent: €200 for three nights was absolutely fair and reasonable. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Because of the nearby lake, there were quite a few mosquitoes, but that’s pretty much unavoidable and wasn’t really a bother. Our parking spot was a little farther away, but other parking spots were right behind the accommodations and were very close.

The campground was very comfortable. We really liked the swimming pools and the playgrounds for children. The accommodations were very clean, cozy, and equipped with everything you need for a great summer vacation. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit this campground again in a heartbeat. Late arrival, after reception closing time, no problem. Well-kept, clearly laid out complex. Access to the beach. Water park, swimming pool, playgrounds. Bike rental uncomplicated. Very clean accommodation, functional. Good value for money.

For our personal feeling, somewhat uncomfortable beds. For a few nights ok, for a 1 or 2-week vacation to reconsider.
Great short vacation
Great, spontaneous and above all relaxed (short) vacation with our children (11,13). Late arrival at 22:00 was no problem. Communicated beforehand by e-mail and telephone (German/English), our key for the accommodation was ready and easy to find near reception. Accommodation found quickly as parking... map was included in the documents provided. Clean, well-kept accommodation (Habana Top TV 4). A little cramped, but functional. You stay outside anyway. Well-kept, clearly laid out grounds. The children loved the water park. The area for swimming and sliding was also clean and well maintained. Bike rental uncomplicated. We had e-bikes. Great bike tour to Almere, Nijkerk, Zwolle etc.

If I were a dog ... The huge dog beach alone with regular bag collection points and garbage cans was great. Very nice location on the water, separated only by the dyke.

Man ... find a great beach and full garbage cans everywhere, which are not emptied sufficiently.
A lot of things seem careless and uncoordinated.

Many repeat offenders have commented, as previous writers have done here, that things were better before CAPFUN took over. But I can neither confirm nor deny... that ... First offenders!

The general cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and the condition of the wash houses is questionable. Despite several reminders, neither toilet paper nor soap was replenished regularly. The - far too few - showers were only cleaned in the mornings and evenings for the mass of users, MUCH too few in relation to the number of showers to people (6 showers for an estimated 400 people).

Two (yes, TWO) more showers were not opened, with various explanations. The one I found most interesting was that these two showers could only be used by paying 50 cents and that the guests didn't like that???

Complaints about this were regularly ignored.
In my opinion, the store only has a very limited selection of items available for the size of the campsite.

I would like to award negative points for the sanitary facilities ... but I can't.

... Yes, we won't be back!!!
