Very nice place
We are riding our organic bikes along the Weser Cycle Path and needed accommodation for the night. I had heard about the Weserterrassen campsite from a friend and saw on the website that there was also permanent accommodation, perfect for us who were traveling without a tent.
The phone call with Birgit... was very friendly, cheerful and courteous - and ultimately successful with a very well-equipped apartment with a fantastic view of the Weser floodplains :)
A great place in a beautiful location with a very friendly team!

Too few men's toilets.
Super place
The campsite directly on the Weser is very clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities too. We stayed in a sleeping barrel, which was super cozy. The site operators are really likeable and "always eager". Courteous, friendly and immediately on hand if you have a question or need help. Arrive and feel at home.

Very good place in a quiet location. With a lovingly run restaurant. The owners are great. You feel very comfortable and very welcome. We always enjoy coming back to the campsite and are always sad that the wonderful time has passed so quickly.

Good location and friendly groundsman with restaurant and fish from our own Weser fishery
Uncomplicated place in a beautiful location
Lots of space, located directly on the Weser at a ferry with a good restaurant. What more could you want? Sanitary facilities simple but in good order and clean. On public holidays when the site is well occupied, it could perhaps get a bit crowded, I can imagine. Good starting point for motorcycling, cycling and hiking. Very friendly groundsman.

Centrally located in relation to Denmark and southwest Europe. Beautifully situated in tranquil surroundings for a great start or end to your vacation.

I can't think of any disadvantages.
We have been coming to the campsite for many years. The campsite is a day's drive from Denmark and we use it as the first or last stop on our vacation. The facilities are neat and clean. Always a friendly and welcoming treatment by Herr Köster and his staff. Remember to bring a long extension cord if... you want to be directly on the river Weser. You can eat well in the restaurant or you can shop 500 meters from the campsite in the small supermarket with fresh bread and delicacies etc.
