- FBFLORENCE B.srpen 2026PozitivaThis was our second time at the campground. We were a couple traveling with our teenage daughter and our dog. Everything went very well.Family Caravan VacationThe site was spacious; we were able to set up the trailer with its large awning and gazebo, as well as a tent, and park the car. The view of the mountains is fantastic.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. Buďte první!
- HBHervé B.srpen 2026PozitivaThe sites are largeNegativaThe water wasn't hot enough for washing dishes. I couldn't sleep all night because of a group of about 30 campers (Dutch) who were making noise until 5 a.m. — maybe have someone come by around 1 a.m. to quiet them down, for example.15-Day Stay at BELLEGOUimportant spacesAutomaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. - LGLucas G.srpen 2026PozitivaWi-Fi, clean restrooms.NegativaFor a 3-star campground, there are no bars, restaurants, or food trucks where you can eat or drink. There aren’t enough restrooms—only two “regular” toilets in the central block (not counting the squat toilets). It’s a long way from bakeries and supermarkets; you have to take the Promenade du Bastan, which is at least a 20-minute walk. At check-in, there are no recommendations for hikes in the area, no maps given to tourists—you’re on your own. They just give you your campsite, your badge, and the Wi-Fi password.Tent Camping at Le HOUNTA CampgroundShaded campsites.Automaticky přeloženo.Odpovězeno z Camping Le Hounta 18. srpen 2026Hello Mr. GUINOISEAU,
It is true that our campground does not have a bar, swimming pool, or restaurant, as indicated on our website. Since you made the reservation in advance through our website, we are surprised that you did not see this information before booking.
Our location relative to the center... of Luz can be seen on Google Maps; it’s a 1-kilometer walk. If your intention was to stay in Luz-Saint-Sauveur itself, then choosing our campground was indeed not necessarily the best fit for your situation.
Upon arrival, we usually advise guests to come back once they’ve settled in to avoid information overload right away. We’re open every day to offer advice and recommendations, but you’ll need to stop by the front desk to see us. If you didn’t express a desire to receive recommendations, we unfortunately couldn’t have guessed. We would have been delighted to advise you if you’d taken the time to stop by the front desk during your 10-night stay.
Regarding the road noise, it’s true that the road is busy during the day since it leads to Gavarnie. We assign sites in the order of booking and based on any special requests made at the time of booking; we can only advise you to book your vacation earlier if you have specific requirements.
As for the restrooms, we have a second restroom building near the front desk that has 7 stalls. Upon arrival, we advise guests not to hesitate to use the building near the front desk, which is less crowded.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. - TETessier E.srpen 2026PozitivaQuiet campground, very clean mobile home, mostly shaded, good 5G reception, decent playground. Real roller shades that block out all light—which is rare enough to be worth mentioning. Overall, we recommend this campground.NegativaDo-it-yourself property inspections—well, it’s the same everywhere these days. Don’t be too picky about missing items at check-in—just trust the guest. It could have a small grocery corner with the basics (pasta, oil, etc.). How about adding hooks in the rooms to hang a mosquito net? A swimming pool would really add value to the campground.Nice campgroundSee Living RoomAutomaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. Buďte první!

- ABAntoine B.srpen 2026PozitivaThe peace and quiet, the cleanliness, and the helpfulness of the staff and campground. Well-located and close to our hiking trails. In short, the perfect combination for a relaxing getaway from workNegativaJust to mention something: the gate remotes are a little finicky. And a small sign indicating whether the water is safe to drink would be a nice little extra.Hunting in the Mountains2-person trailer. - CMCéline M.srpen 2026PozitivaThank you for your always warm welcome! A quiet and pleasant campground. And as always, beautiful scenery and sites to visit near the campground, which is in a great location. It’s always such a pleasure. A week went by way too fast! All the best, and give my parents a hug!NegativaA few years ago, a vendor used to come to the campground to sell Basque cakes and, if I remember correctly, run a small mobile rotisserie. I noticed that this year there was only the bread and pastries stand. That’s a shame!VacationNo. 40 isn't the best mobile home we've ever had, but it's still practical and simple.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. Buďte první!

- GDGabrielle D.červenec 2026PozitivaWe highly recommend this place (Le Hounta), located in a very pretty region with plenty of beautiful scenery to explore.
