The setting, the location, and the owners' friendliness

The campground is in a great location with a fantastic view of the lake; the mobile home is very nice, and the campground is quiet. I had a wonderful time there with my family.

We had a great time despite the thunderstorms. We were able to enjoy ourselves, and the scenery in Auvergne is magnificent.

The perfect welcome, the pool, the playground, the free puppet show, the fully equipped mobile home with a magnificent view of Lake Chambon and Murol Castle, the peaceful setting, and a beautiful region to explore—everything came together to make for an ideal vacation.

It's too bad the soccer semifinal match between France and Spain wasn't broadcast.

Located right in the heart of the areas we wanted to explore, the Serrette campground turned out to be an excellent choice for our vacation. We received a warm welcome, which was nice after a few hours on the road. The mobile home was very clean and well-equipped. The whole family enjoyed the covered patio. The campground is quiet and well-located for anyone wanting to explore the region. It’s a great place that I recommend without reservation.

The partially shaded site, the campground's location, the cleanliness of the restrooms, the quiet atmosphere, the pool, and the game room.

Access to the campground is not functional for several reasons: - The entrance is on a hill, with the gate halfway up the slope, making it difficult to start a caravan on a hill with limited visibility. - The campground’s entrance and exit are through the same narrow passage with limited visibility, making it impossible for vehicles to pass each other. - No entry or exit access for bicycles, so the barrier is closed

Even though maintenance has been done, it would be a good idea to trim the hedges and mow the grass around the mobile home 🏡
