The campsites are shady and spacious; there’s a great climbing park, a large playground, a swimming lake, a river, various outdoor activities, some children’s entertainment, and a great restaurant. The owner is... very friendly and goes out of his way to ensure his guests’ well-being. This was our second time here, and we felt very comfortable again. There are beautiful places to visit in the surrounding area, including spots for hiking, biking, and swimming. A bakery is within walking distance, and large supermarkets are just a short drive away. Another thing we really liked: even during peak season, the region isn’t overcrowded, and despite the high summer temperatures during the day, it cools down pleasantly at night. The sites here are mostly shaded, which is nice when it gets really hot. This section of the campground is difficult to access for cars pulling caravans because the road is a sort of forest path with trees and low-hanging branches, but also because of cars and RVs parked in inconvenient spots.
The restrooms in this section of the campground are labeled “eco.” These consist of two separate small wooden structures—one for the toilets and one for washing dishes and showers. The floors aren’t tiled but covered with gravel. It’s a nice concept in theory, but the execution here was rather shoddy. The toilets flushed poorly, and the door on one of the four showers wouldn’t stay locked, rendering it unusable. Capacity was insufficient—for example, only four showers for more than 50 campsites—and there were lines to do the dishes. This isn’t what you’d expect for a premium price (we paid €95 per night). In our section of the campground, there were several guests with dogs that, despite the leash requirement, were simply running loose throughout the campground. I can imagine that people with small children wouldn’t appreciate this.
The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, but at the trash collection area, we were spoken to rudely if our trash wasn’t sorted exactly right.
There are also many activities organized at the campground, though you have to pay extra for a lot of them.
There’s no bakery on the campground, but there’s one 200 meters away in the village.
All in all, a nice campground with room for improvement, especially at these prices.

The campground’s concept—with its natural campsites and the many activities offered by the Menina Fun Park—feels very authentic. There’s something for everyone. From children’s games to live music for the adults. The restroom facilities are somewhat “rustic,” but very well maintained and always clean. The lake on the campground and the river behind it are great for cooling off. It’s worth bringing your SUP. In the afternoon, there’s a stand selling fresh fruits and vegetables (tip: watermelon with fresh limes). About 50 meters down the road, there’s a bakery with fresh rolls and bread. The campground’s restaurant is highly recommended and stands out for its excellent selection of dishes. The pizzas are absolutely delicious.NegativaDepending on where you park, the drinking water station might be a little farther away. So don't forget your watering can.
