A well-kept campsite with a good restaurant
We felt very comfortable on this well-kept campsite. The staff were extremely friendly and provided us with comprehensive information. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained.
We also ate well in the restaurant on the campsite. We liked it very much!

- Approach on a narrow road - Pedantic staff - Reception and store only from 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. (But so accurate, although present)
CP Stocken - near the archipelago
First of all, the campsite is idyllically situated near the archipelago, the pitches are flat and sufficiently large.
The sanitary facilities are clean, but are not very spacious even with the low occupancy.
We also had the misfortune that there was no opportunity to wash dishes in our sanitary building,... which meant a long walk to the next building on another part of the large campsite.

Once you have completed the registration procedure and the overly precise explanations of the access cards, barriers etc., you are pedantically assigned to your pitch down to the last centimeter (although at our time the campsite was no more than a third full)

The approach to the campsite is also a bit tedious, very narrow road with few detours, we had to back up quite a long way twice.

Registration/deregistration at the reception is only possible from (exactly!) 9 am or after the lunch break at (again exactly) 1 pm.

Store well stocked, but also only from 9am.

But it all sounds worse now than it was, the site outweighs all the minor criticisms with its good location and cleanliness.

Thank you for taking the time to review our campsite!
Since you arrived in low season the opening hours are restricted because we are by then no longer fully staffed like in high season. The time we do not spend in the reception we are busy in other places of the campsite.
In high season, and when possible... also in low season, we accompany our guests to their pitches to make sure firesafety distances are kept - a safety procedure, but it also gives the opportunity to answer any questions that may have arisen since checking in.
We hope that you despite this still had a nice visit with us. Welcome back!

Further away from the beach, very small beach with murky water
Nice place with a long way to the beach
Booking and check-in are quick and uncomplicated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pitches are clean and spacious. There are too few cabins in the sanitary area. Perhaps toilets and showers should have been separated. However, everything is modern and clean. If you want to go to the beach, it... is better to have a bike. The walk is very long. The beach is also very small and there is a lot of plant life on the bottom of the murky water. If you are sensitive, you should get out quickly. The rocky landscape around the beach is fantastic. Especially in the evening at sunset, it provides unique impressions. There is a small playground with an active air cushion on the site. We didn't use the restaurant. The nearby village is very small and offers little for tourists. The site is recommended. If only to explore the rocky landscape.

Thank you for your review!
I gather that you were staying in the area near the reception by the smaller of our servicehouses. In the larger servicehouses the toilets and showers are separated.
You mention the beach - did you also discover the sundeck and swimming jetty to the right of the beach along the cliffs? If not, maybe next time? We hope to see you again, welcome!

very friendly registration, the whole place is very well maintained, fantastic location

The store only opens at 9am, so check out is also possible then (possibly due to low season)
Fantastic location, great place
We were passing through for one night with a caravan and 3 dogs. Registration was quick and friendly. We were shown the areas that were free on the map and we were able to walk around the site and choose the one that suited us.
Everything looks very new and well maintained: Playground, mini golf course.... The sanitary buildings can be opened with a chip card and showers can also be used. You pay when you check out, so you don't need change. The sanitary buildings are clean and well maintained. Nothing to complain about, except perhaps (as almost everywhere) that toilet paper brand 1-layer wrapping paper).
The pitches are very spacious, clean and level. What more could a camper's heart desire. A small water access at the pitch. Great for children: the whole area is surrounded by rocks, which are great for crawling around on. Outside, there is a small bay designated as a dog beach and it's also a great place to take the dogs for a walk. A really fantastic place.
The store is also well stocked and you can order bread rolls. The disadvantage for us was that the store only opened at 9am (possibly due to the low season). It was also only possible to leave at this time.
We felt very comfortable.
It's about 15 minutes by car to the nearest town/shopping facilities.
There is also a kayak rental on site

Friendly reception, we had pitch no. 6 near the reception. The vehicles are parked aligned, drawbar to the road, quite close together. The toilets could have done with more frequent cleaning. At the same time a French. The sanitary facilities could not cope with this. Beautiful landscape, we found a great fish store in Stocken. We didn't try the restaurant.

There are walking paths that can also be used with the dog and there is also the possibility for the dog to swim near the campsite.

The place apparently also acts as a supermarket for the nearby town, so I think the prices are a bit high.
Place in the archipelago
The pitch is a large pitch consisting mainly of a very large meadow. This is framed by the permanent pitches. The staff are very friendly and always strive to provide good service. In strong north-westerly winds it can be uncomfortable as the bay in front of the site is quite open to the north-west.

Great place on the west coast
Located on the picturesque west coast on the island of Orust. Very nice little village within walking distance. Ideal for sea kayak tours through the archipelago or hikes along the rocky coast. Due to its size, however, the site is very busy with frequent changes. This sometimes causes a bit of unrest. Good standard sanitary facilities, but not always spotlessly clean.

Reception opening hours - closed barrier
Place on the western coast of Orust
On arrival, check-in was only possible from 4.00 p.m. onwards (strings), so we had to wait in front of the door/barrier. The staff was present - but the reception remained closed until 16.00 (bureaucracy sends its regards!). A large site with two older, clean service buildings. The signposted "hiking... trails" to the beach and promenade were quickly "worked off". The season was obviously over. WLAN for a fee. The store was closed. We didn't find the place overly attractive.

Wash houses just ok, loud music at the weekend
Beautiful place
A very beautifully situated site - and above all finally with quite large pitches. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case in Sweden / southern Sweden. We had to book in advance in the high season - we called a few days in advance. That way it was no problem. In my opinion, most campers only stay here... for a few days. Sometimes the site was packed - but then it quickly emptied out again. Unfortunately, the wash houses were again "typically" Swedish: no German standard of an upmarket site - more youth hostel style - kept simple, and well...reasonably clean. Nice is different, but this site is not one of the cheapest. But the surrounding landscape definitely makes up for it - ideal for families with children who can't walk much but want to see beautiful scenery. The little ones have fun climbing on the rocks of the archipelago and mom and dad enjoy the beautiful view :) Wonderful - really. There is also a nice playground and a baby changing room with a "mini shower". The store is well equipped, bread rolls, even croissants are always fresh in the morning. Mini golf nicely laid out, restaurant on site (but not tried) service staff nice. A bit annoying was the loud music on weekend evenings until well after midnight, which resounded from the restaurant over the whole place, there was probably a lively dance evening...

Beach limited suitable for swimming as water is very shallow
Secluded spot in beautiful nature
Pebble beach right next to the campsite, but the water is only a few centimetres deep with lots of seaweed, so not really suitable for swimming in our opinion. But would probably be ok for small children to splash around in. Canoe rental at the site, which is open in high season, large meadow without... parcelling for mobile homes, lots of sparrows (you shouldn't feed them because they're a bit annoying if you want to eat outside). Very clean sanitary facilities, cool children's bathroom with baby bath. Great landscape, you can hike to a small viewpoint directly above the campsite.

We only stayed here for one night on our 2016 Norway tour. The site is beautifully situated by the water. You can go for a nice walk in the surrounding area. There is a small "beach". The operator was very friendly and we were even allowed onto the pitch after booking

Noisy bouncy castle with permanent sound system
Very good place !!!
A very nice place to relax. Fantastically situated, small mountains around the site, if you climb (or rather walk) up them you have an all-round view that is almost unbeatable. A really great, beautiful place. Just one small thing - you shouldn't stand at the children's playground if peace and quiet... is important. Not because of the children, but there is a hidden bouncy castle in the sandpit, which hums from 10-19 o'clock !!! Otherwise a great place to relax !!!

Good lonely place
Large site directly on the archipelago coast, with a number of permanent campers, but also many tourist pitches. The latter are located on lower meadows, possibly driving problems in wet conditions. Only a few pitches have a view of the water. Good and complete sanitary facilities, but not heated. Some... leisure facilities. Store with bread roll service. V+E ideal for motorhomes. The village of Stocken is only a 5-minute walk away. But uninteresting: only residential and boathouses there. No stores, no restaurant. NS SEK 235 incl. electricity, showers extra. CKE desired, but not a requirement.

Large space in a beautiful location
We first went to the partner site (Kerstings) and found Stocken there. It was a good choice: plenty of space, close to the sea, with a view of the town. The pitches could be bigger, but that doesn't matter in the low season. The staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean. We would have liked to stay longer.

Although the site is quite large, its length means that you can sit on most of the pitches (which are quite small) with a view of the greenery. We chose this site because it has access to a small and somewhat distant bathing area and a larger playground. If we had been on Orust as a couple, we would... have opted for the much smaller site on Malön. The loud Trubadour event one evening in the restaurant attached to the campsite, which lasted well into the night, was also a bit annoying - 10pm is no time for a night's rest. The sanitary facilities were clean, but like most of the Swedish campsites we visited, you had to walk quite a long way to get water.
