"Small pitches and very expensive - The pitch sizes are purely imaginary and do not come close to reflecting the actual size. Our caravan (2.30m wide) plus awning (2.60m wide) just about fit on the pitch. My complaint was only laughed at, because the pitch is supposedly 8*10m. We paid over €80 for our pitch with two people plus dog without electricity and tourist tax. I actually expect more for this price!

"Ecxlusive location, but far too expensive - Exclusive location, which must also be paid for. 2 adults, 2 dogs, electricity, 103€. That's quite a lot, although some of the pitches are very sloping. Clearly too expensive for me. There are much cheaper places with better pitches. The whole site is very natural. Very narrow driveways.

"Great camping vacation on the Schartneralm - I spent 1.5 weeks at the Schartneralm with my partner in our camper van at the beginning of June and we really enjoyed our stay immensely. The bread roll service (yes, you can order fresh warm bread rolls in the morning :)))))) greeted us warmly every morning, the check-in went smoothly, the information at reception about the Schartneralm itself and also about possible activities was well prepared and comprehensive. We particularly enjoyed the BioPool with mountain views and sauna to wind down after e-bike tours with rented bikes. The culinary offer with bistro, pizzeria and a chic restaurant offers everything you need and the service was always fast and very friendly:) All in all, a great vacation and we would love to come back!!!

"Top place above Bolzano - what a great place above Botzen. quiet, very high-quality equipment (everything has been thought of), well maintained super pizzaria and top restaurant. Hiking trails at the campsite, great view of the Dolomites
