"Small campsite with disadvantages - Small campsite with many disadvantages you still have to make something out of it. Employee did not know about the Camping Info fan club membership and simply disconnected the electricity

"... Even more nature is not possible! - ... could there be more nature? When was the last time you watched a grasshopper, a vineyard snail and a slow worm on the move? When did you listen to the calls of the reed warbler? Counted how long the great crested grebe can stay below the surface of the water and let it and its young approach very quietly and carefully to within 2 meters? When was the last time you let the silence of a lake work its magic on you and watched a white-tailed eagle in the sky? You don't find that anymore? Yes, and all in one day! ... at the canoe camp/nature camp in Canow. If you are looking for "pure nature" and camping in its original form, this is the place for you. No "Chicki Micki", no trimmed hedges, no animation. ... although the latter is not entirely true - in good weather there is sometimes a campfire in the evening, around which everyone gathers and tells their stories. ... a little bit like in the stories from 1001 Nights. Simple, sometimes ingenious (e.g. the bunks above the containers in the wash house) and all very informal. Dear Anne & family, dear Tobias, We felt right at home with you. "Idyllic, family-run nature campsite - The off-season is perfect for a visit to the Mecklenburg Lake District. With this campsite we have found a gem in the middle of nature. Our children immediately felt at home. The small store in the village (5 minutes' walk) was still open, so we were able to stock up on bread rolls etc. We were able to decide individually when we wanted to go kayaking on the lake thanks to the campsite's own boat rental service. Everything was very uncomplicated and it was a great experience to be on the Labussee by boat when the sun was setting on the other side of the lake. We experienced wonderful sunsets. We will definitely be back :-)

"Idyllic camping in the middle of nature - Small but nice!!! super-friendly groundskeepers with heart, family-friendly, the Labussee right in front of your nose, boat rental, campfire sites, sauna, play area for smaller children, drinks fridge, bread service...here you like to come together!

"In the midst of nature - I come back to Canow canoe camp every year and enjoy the peace and relaxation here. It's simply a wonderful place if, like me, you can enjoy nature and have fun exploring the flora and fauna of Mecklenburg. The location directly on the lake with the possibilities for canoe and kayak tours lasting one to several days is really ideal. The gastronomy in the small village of Canow, which can be reached on foot in 3 minutes, offers everything for me (from delicious coffee to ice cream to restaurants with fish dishes) is more than sufficient for a camping vacation. The morning bread roll service in the summer season is an additional plus point for the site.

"Repeat offenders - This was my second time here and I will definitely be back. I just love this cozy place. I look for a little break every year, just for me (58 years old). Alone, self-catering, kayaking, camping, pure relaxation. Just as I had always imagined, THAT is what I found HERE! The site is kept very simple, so there are no fixed pitches. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. There are facilities for showering and washing dishes. Electricity can also be booked. In the evening there is the possibility to sit together around the campfire. Kayaks and canoes can also be hired on site. If you are looking for entertainment, you are definitely in the wrong place here. Rest, relaxation and experiencing nature (morning wake-up call of the crane included) - that's what this nature campsite offers. Conclusion: very nice place, very nice people. I'll be back - despite traveling over 800 km with my own kayak. Best regards Dominic
