Ulrich G.juni 20255.0UGUlrich G.juni 2025PozitivnoPitches on the meadow and shaded by trees. Directly on the water and not far from the village of Gornij Karin. Clean and relatively modern toilets. Nice campsite crew. Bistro with food and drinks on the campsite. Small pool and playground on the site.NegativnoTo get to Donjii Karin, you have to drive down a small sepentine road from the Novigrad side of Novigradsko More. This may be a bit narrow for inexperienced caravan drivers or long motorhomes - but it is doable. It may be better to drive from the highway via Obrovac to the campsite (exit 16)Beautiful campsite right on the waterCamping Karin is located near the highway A1 directly on the water (Novigradsko More). We were there for one night on 22.06.2025, just on our way to Albania.
The pitches are on a meadow and mostly under trees. The sanitary facilities were clean and relatively modern. There is no pool and a playground.... There is also a bistro with food, we ate vegetarian pizza.
The crew on the site were very nice and helpful. We liked it for one night. Many thanks again.Automatski prevedeno.3 kampera smatraju ovaj prikaz korisnim. - 3.0
Mateusz R.juni 20253.0Mateusz R.juni 2025PozitivnoFriendly camping guests and helpful reception staff - Clean swimming pool - Sufficient activities for children - Good basic facilitiesNegativno- Disrespectful behavior from Polish co-owner - Excessive noise during nights (drinking and loud conversations)Mixed experience - great facilities but noise issuesPeople on camping are nice, people in reception are very helpful, swimming pool is clean, location is ok could be a bit better, things to do for kids were enough for us
The polish co-owner of the camp behaves disrespectfully. Drinks alcohol half night and is very loud with his friends and he is proud of it.
If the place is as quiet as advertised staying here would be 2x longer.Automatski prevedeno.1 kamper smatra ovu ocjenu korisnom. - 5.0RKRenate K.septembar 20245.0RKRenate K.septembar 2024PozitivnoA small, fine campsite with a pool. Very clean, still little shade, electricity and water at the pitch. Access to the sea, swimming here is poor, shallow, seaweed, little water exchange. You have to walk a few hundred meters. There are also stores and such over the bridge to the village. Bicycle recommended.Automatski prevedeno.3 kampera smatraju ovaj prikaz korisnim.

Where else are you greeted with a handshake on a campsite? The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome and it is also possible to go into the water with them. There is a restaurant outside the site and a small supermarket 3 minutes away by bike. The owners also offer their own olive oil and wine. - 4.0MSMartina S.august 20184.0MSMartina S.august 2018PozitivnoPeace, beautiful nature, friendly operators, family atmosphereNegativnono open sea and not good for swimming/snorkelingTruly a retreatWe (family with two children under 14 and a dog) were there in August 2018. We liked the place very much. Not overcrowded, romantic, some children, very friendly operators, in the middle of nature, dog-friendly and the ideal place to relax from stressful everyday life. The church bells mentioned in other... reviews didn't bother us at all. You can't do any bulk shopping at the campsite, but there is a bakery and a small store next to the campsite. Unfortunately there is no possibility to go out for a stroll/dinner in the evening, but we had our car. The only downside for us was the sea. We are used to blue water and snorkeling opportunities from many trips to Croatia. There is no "open" sea there and the water depth ranges from ankle-deep to knee-high and if you want to swim properly, you have to walk a bit. The seabed at the camp beach is very marshy with lots of greenery. But I think it's ideal for small children or non-swimmers. Unfortunately, there were also a lot of mosquitoes there, but the campsite operator can't influence that. All in all, a wonderful place if you want to take a break.Automatski prevedeno.3 kampera smatraju ovaj prikaz korisnim.
- 4.0OSOliver S.august 20184.0OSOliver S.august 2018Pozitivno- Clean, new sanitary facilities - Very friendly operator - Clean siteNegativno- Access for caravans somewhat difficult, but feasible - Remote - Hardly any good places to eatGreat camping site for stopoversThis site is a good campsite for stopovers on the journey to southern Croatia. The operator is very nice. The sanitary facilities are clean and the pitches are spacious. The showers take some getting used to. There is nowhere to put your things in the shower cubicle without them getting wet. You therefore... have to undress in the corridor in front of the cubicle. However, the corridor is visible from the outside ;-) The small saltwater inland lake is a bit dirty. It is suitable for swimming, but it is not a highlight. There are few good places to eat in the surrounding area. The journey to the campsite by caravan is feasible but involves a winding road. You should drive carefully and slowly.Automatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. Budite prvi!

Andreas K.august 20184.0Andreas K.august 2018PozitivnoQuiet, clean place, very welcome, security by security service, free showersNegativnoMany mosquitoes in the evening, no bread service20 days August/SeptemberThe place is very quiet.is run by two brothers, Eugen + Ilja.all very friendly.showers without splash wall and constantly you have to press the button so that the water runs.but always warm water.the front plots are quite uneven and have no sewage connection.therefore always take a drive-up wedge.at... night the place is guarded by a security guard (Ivica). There is no direct food supply on the site, but right next door is a mini grocery store and a small bakery, otherwise you drive over the small bridge to the neighboring village, where there is also a bit more going on. the dog mentioned by other campers was abandoned here by strangers and the operators have given him a new home. We have 2 dogs ourselves and can say with a clear conscience that the dog is doing very well here. The bells from the monastery don't bother us in the slightest, they are simply part of the idyllic setting and apparently only 3 monks live in the monastery. To swim you have to go a little further into the water, because otherwise it is only about knee to waist high.in the morning there were often figs on our camping table, which are distributed to the guests by the site operator.to summarize: We liked it very much and will definitely be back. P.S.: The site is fenced in and only has access to the water. However, this is due to the fact that many beach visitors walk past the site and serves to ensure the safety of belongings.Automatski prevedeno.3 kampera smatraju ovaj prikaz korisnim. - 4.0USUwe S.august 20184.0USUwe S.august 2018PozitivnoNature, relaxed camping, no mass camping tourismNegativnoNoneAnother insider tipSuperbly located, small site right on the water. Privately owned. Eugen and his brother take great care of the guests. Secluded stretches of beach within walking distance. Very nice ambience overall. Small bars and shops nearby. Not yet fully developed for tourism. More of a vacation resort for locals.... Nature parks and beautiful towns such as Zadar are within easy reach. Currently only about 20% occupancy, as it only opened last year. A small vacation idyll in a small village. We liked it very much and would love to come back!Automatski prevedeno.2 kampera smatraju ovaj prikaz korisnim.
- 5.0KBKarin B.juni 20185.0KBKarin B.juni 2018PozitivnoExemplary campsite where the price-performance ratio is right!NegativnoThere is absolutely none!DreamlikeWe found this place by chance last year and haven't regretted it for a day! Fantastic location, beautiful site, designed with love. Clean sanitary building, as well as the entire site, very clean and well-kept. There is a small store nearby where you can buy the essentials. The campsite is a place to... slow down. If you want to experience something, you have to walk/drive about 3 km. You can get any help, support or tips from the owners. Kamp Karin is only three years old and therefore still an insider tip. It would be nice for us if it stayed that way. But the owners deserve that many people feel at home there. This was our second time here and we will definitely be back.Automatski prevedeno.1 kamper smatra ovu ocjenu korisnom.
- 5.0MHMonika H.juni 20185.0MHMonika H.juni 2018PozitivnoRestNegativnoWe have nothing to complain aboutGreat placeWe deliberately chose this place because we were looking for a quiet location that was still centrally located. We had a great rest here and did a lot in the surrounding area (winnetou museum in starigrad paclenica, krk waterfalls, zadar and more). everything you need for daily life is within reach.... We didn't find the noise of the monastery disturbing, after a few days we didn't hear it anymore. I saw the dog twice in 10 days but never heard it. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the people were all friendly and helpful. We will go there again next year because there is still so much to see in Dalmatia. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.Automatski prevedeno.1 kamper smatra ovu ocjenu korisnom.
- 3.0KSKathrin S.septembar 20173.0KSKathrin S.septembar 2017Pozitivnoclean sanitary facilitiesNegativnoDog barkingToo bad the pictures were much more obstructiveWe had deliberately chosen this place because it promised peace and pure nature, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The place is separated from the road by a metal fence, behind it is a church that is constantly ringing loudly. On Sundays there is a lot of activity and noise (car traffic, singing... in the church - many people) The entire beach is also separated by a fence. The owner family apparently lives on the campsite with some children and animals. Unfortunately, especially the family dog is not taken care of, he sits all day and also at night on a leash in front of the house or the reception. Since no attention is paid to this poor animal, it barks around all day and is yelled at in return. We had our own dog with us and we were very sorry about this situation.Automatski prevedeno.Nijedan kamper još nije označio ovu ocjenu korisnom. Budite prvi!

That's why this campsite was perfect for us! Far away from the tourist hustle and bustle, but everything was within reach. With our tent trailer, we also had a tent and a caravan here. The sanitary facilities were very good. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. A small comment: a bread roll service, to order, would be great, but is not a negative criterion!Automatski prevedeno.1 kamper smatra ovu ocjenu korisnom.

Unfortunately, there was not much shade as the trees were still very small. The natural mud baths nearby are great. Really an experience for young and old. The pitch was rather empty in mid-August, which is probably because the tourist... destinations are all a bit further away. But no mass tourism. Well, the church bells don't ring at night, but they do early in the morning. That can be annoying. The owner is very nice, invited us for a glass of wine in the evening and is open to any questions. You can hire boats etc. Quite picturesque surroundings. Sanitary facilities are cleaned, water rather scarce in the shower.Automatski prevedeno.1 kamper smatra ovu ocjenu korisnom.

Not only did we find this at Kamp Karin, we also met two brothers who fulfilled their job with all their heart. Kamp Karin is a really good place if you want to visit: Plivitce, Krka, the Island of Pag, Zadar, Benkovac, Biograd na Moru... and Kornati or go kayaking on the Zarmanja River. It's a pleasure to use the sanitary services because it's all new and tidy. The two brothers are always at your service. They even gave us some fresh tomatoes and figs that we could use for our barbecue (they cultivate them at home). Even when you choose to stay on the camping, you can take a swim in the nearby lake. The bakery serves really nice things and the saleswoman is very friendly. Kamp Karin is a wonderful place to stay to discover Croatia.
