Our Heidepark is located in the pretty village of Vierhouten. The Veluwe character is surrounded by forests and vast heathland. It is truly beautiful here. Put on your walking shoes and discover the various detours that lead through the Heidepark. …These hiking routes will take you to the most beautiful places in and around Vierhouten. There are also endless opportunities for cycling and walking along the most beautiful highlights of the Veluwe. Discover the Veluwemeer, the sheepfold in Ermelo or visit De Hoge Veluwe National Park. Vierhouten is also called the culinary heart of the Veluwe. After a wonderful day out, you can enjoy a delicious meal in one of the cosy restaurants. If you fancy a day out, there are plenty of options too. How about a family day out at Apenheul in Apeldoorn or the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk? If you are looking for a sporty day out, then take on the challenge at the climbing forest at VDB Holiday in Ermelo. Heidepark Veluwschkarakter is a great place to spend a holiday. Come and see for yourself! Our park has various playgrounds where children can really let off steam. We also have an air trampoline and you can also let off steam in the heath directly behind our park. Bicycles can be rented all year round in the Heidepark Veluwschkarakter. City bikes are always available in our park. Electric bicycles, tandems or cargo bikes can also be rented, but must be reserved one day in advance (before 12:00) at our reception.
