We stayed at this site for 12 nights in Sept 2017. We ended up here by chance as the two pitches we had chosen were fully booked. There were several pitches free at Les Ilates, so we were allowed to choose where we wanted to stay. There are a total of 3 sanitary buildings, one of which was closed from... 10.09 onwards. The facilities in the buildings are OK, but for my taste they could have been cleaner. Reception speaks English, no German Discount card ACSI was recognized. You can get to the sea/beach at Loix in a few minutes by bike. There were always lots of mussel collectors there at low tide... Cycling is recommended on the Ile de Re, there are plenty of cycle paths and the distances are manageable (with the exception of headwinds). There were several facilities on the site, none of which we used: - Swimming pool - restaurant - small store - tennis court - bike rental - numerous mobile homes in different variants Price/performance in the low season we found to be ok.

Were there in the HS, halligalli every evening; disco, karaoke, sports tournaments etc. Pitches alternated with mobile homes. Toilets antique, but clean. The island itself is worth a visit. Absolutely a paradise for cyclists.
